Sunoco Road to Wheatland Offers Cash Bonuses to Drivers in 2025

BATAVIA, Ohio (March 11, 2025) - Sunoco Race Fuels, the official fuel of the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series presented by FloRacing, will reward drivers who maintain perfect attendance at all events leading up to the Show-Me 100 at Lucas Oil Speedway on May 24.

The Sunoco Road to Wheatland is a long-standing incentive that awards cash bonuses to the top 15 drivers in the series' point standings at the Show-Me 100 in May. The series point leader will earn a $2,500 bonus at the Show-Me 100, while those finishing 2nd through 15th in the series point standings will receive cash prizes from the $16,000 bonus pool that Sunoco is distributing.

Jonathan Davenport leads the series' points standings following the Georgia-Florida Speedweeks, with a slim lead over Devin Moran, Ricky Thornton Jr., Brandon Overton, and Daulton Wilson, who round out the top five in the series points standings.

The Sunoco Road to Wheatland is the first of four bonus rounds in the Big River Steel Chase for the Championship presented by ARP, recognizing the top fifteen drivers as they chase the over $1,000,000 point fund.

The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series returns to action on Friday, March 21, at Atomic Speedway for an event with a $15,000 winner's prize and on Saturday, March 22, at Brownstown Speedway for an event with a $25,000 winner's prize.
