Lucas Oil Speedway Weekly Racing Series opener rained out

WHEATLAND, MO. (April 4, 2025) - Due to excessive rain in the area over the last couple of days and with more rain and cool weather expected through the weekend, Lucas Oil Speedway's scheduled Pitts Homes and Realty Weekly Racing Series opener on Saturday has been rained out.
With an unyielding forecast that also includes unseasonably cold weather by Saturday night, Lucas Oil Speedway General Manager Danny Lorton said the call to cancel was made early for the convenience of drivers and fans.
The O'Reilly Auto Parts Stock Cars make-up feature, from the Full Fender Madness on March 22nd, will now be made up at the start of the April 19th Easter Bowl Enduro 150 program.
12th annual Spring Nationals next: Open Late Models will make their first appearance of the season for the two-night, 12th annual Spring Nationals Presented by Iconic Apparel, April 11-12. The Late Models will run for $7,000-to-win on Friday with the Hickamo Super Stocks chasing $650 to win and the Show-Me Vintage Racers joining in as well.
The stakes go up on April 12th as the Late Models compete or a $20,000-to-win prize and the Super Stocks go after $1,000 to win. The Show-Me Vintage Racers again will have a full program. The first 500 fans through the gate receive a free 2025 Lucas Oil Speedway schedule magnet courtesy of City Magnet.
Pit gates and grandstands open at 4 p.m. both days with hot laps at 6:30 and opening ceremonies set for 7.
A practice session will be held on April 10th from 6-9 p.m. Pit passes are $35.
