Colby Sokol Secures POWRi Stock Non-Wing Micro KKM Challenge Preliminary Night Victory

Dodge City, KS. (5/16/25) Colby Sokol would dominate all evening on his way to winning the Preliminary Night of the second yearly installment of the Eibach Racing Keith Kunz Motorsports Challenge presented by Start2Finish TV to claim his first career victory with the POWRi Stock Non-Wing Micro League at the outstanding hosting Dodge City Raceway Park.

Going through an impressive field of thirty-four entries on the prelim night of the POWRi Stock Non-Wing Micro division in the KKM Challenge would find Frank Flud set the quick qualifying time with a time of 12.400 seconds. Sam Johnson, Parker Perry, Brant Woods, and Trevor Gach would each emerge victorious in heat racing action with Colby Sokol, Matt Carr, Zayden Vasquez, and Gunnar Pio all earning wins in qualifier competitions as Justis Sokol would gain the B-feature win.

Flying onto the smooth Dodge City Raceway Park surface for Preliminary Night feature racing for the opening night of the Eibach Racing Keith Kunz Motorsports Challenge presented by Start2Finish TV would see the high point qualifier Trevor Gach battle outside front-row contender Gunnar Pio as the green flew with Trevor Gach holding the front of the field for the first three laps with great battles behind the leader.

Taking the top spot after the first ten laps would find Colby Sokol protecting the lead for the final nineteen revolutions, going on to secure his first career POWRi Stock Non-Wing Micro victory as hard-charger Justis Sokol would finish in the closely contended second spot by passing fifteen competitors after starting seventeenth with fifteenth starter Daniel Robinson finalizing the podium placements.

Driving from beginning nineteenth, Brecken Reese would lock down the final lock-in spot of fourth as leader of eight early laps Gunnar Pio rounded out the top five finishers in the POWRi Outlaw Micro League feature in the Preliminary Night of the Eibach Racing Keith Kunz Motorsports Challenge presented by Start2Finish TV at Dodge City Raceway Park.
