Cypress, CA - May 22, 2025 - Two years after capturing one of the biggest wins of his career in the prestigious Salute to Indy at Southern California's Perris Auto Speedway, Brody Roa returns this Saturday night, May 24, aiming to etch his name into the event's storied history once again.
Roa's victory in the 2023 Salute to Indy came during a dominant season that saw the Garden Grove, California driver earn the USAC/CRA Sprint Car Series championship. That year, Roa racked up nine feature wins on six different tracks — eight of those in USAC/CRA competition — including a blistering midseason run where he won six of eight races between April 22 and July 15.
While the Salute to Indy win was a defining moment, Roa's career highlight at The PAS remains his 2017 triumph in the Friday night portion of the Oval Nationals, where he bested a star-studded field featuring both USAC National and USAC/CRA talent.
In 2025, Roa has competed in four USAC/CRA events, finishing in the top six each time. In his two starts at Perris this season, he showcased his trademark resilience by charging forward from deep in the field to finish fifth and sixth. In early April, piloting Chris Bonneau's No. 15 car, Roa notched fourth-place, and sixth-place finishes at the Central Arizona Speedway.
With 21 career USAC/CRA wins, Roa is the winningest active driver and sits fourth all-time in the series' history, which dates back to 2004. At Perris Auto Speedway specifically, Roa has seven career USAC/CRA victories, ranking ninth overall and second among active drivers.
This Saturday's race marks Roa's return to competition following a well-earned break. Earlier this month, he enjoyed a quick getaway to Florida, followed by a relaxing family trip to the river with his wife, Tailor, and their two young daughters.
Fans eager to watch Roa in action at the Salute to Indy can catch the excitement this Saturday night at Perris Auto Speedway. Spectator gates open at 5:00 p.m., with racing beginning at 7:00 p.m. Early arrivals can take advantage of half-off Budweiser beer and two-for-one Pepsis from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m.
