Sweet Springs, MO. (6/27/25) Kris Carroll would lead all thirty laps in the Preliminary Night action of the third yearly installment of the Eibach Racing Keith Kunz Motorsports Challenge presented by Start2Finish TV to claim his first career victory with the POWRi Stock Non-Wing Micro League at the hosting Sweet Springs Motorsports Complex.
Going through an impressive field of fifty-six POWRi Stock Non-Wing Micro division entries in the SSMC Prelim Night of the KKM Challenge would find Mack Leopard set the quick qualifying time with a time of 12.388 seconds. Noah Carpenter, Chase Cabre, Sam Johnson, Kris Carroll, Mack Leopard, Trevor Cline, and Cameron Campbell would each emerge victorious in heat racing action with Quinn Jones, Kole Kirkman, Kris Carroll, and Steven Snyder Jr all earning wins in qualifier competitions. Blayne Buntin and Brecken Reese would win the B-features, as Charlie Leffler would earn the C-feature victory.
Soaring onto the smooth Sweet Springs Motorsports Complex surface for Preliminary Night feature racing for the Eibach Racing Keith Kunz Motorsports Challenge presented by Start2Finish TV would see the high point qualifier Kris Carroll battle outside front-row contender Trevor Cline as the green flew, with Kris Carroll holding the front of the field in the early feature laps.
Protecting the lead steadily, Kris Carroll would appear to be on a rail using a speedy low-to-mid-line as Kole Kirkman and Sam Johnson battled nearly every lap for the runner-up position with Colby Sokol and Trevor Cline maintaining a top-five run around the midpoint of the feature event.
Never wavering out front in a flawless feature event, Kris Carroll would lead all thirty laps to secure his first career POWRi Stock Non-Wing Micro victory as Kole Kirkman would finish in the closely contested second spot after starting fourth, with twelfth starter Colby Sokol finalizing the podium placements.
"I was glad to see the speed on the bottom tonight, this is the fifth night out in this car combo and three wins now," said feature winner Kris Carroll in the Sweet Springs victory lane. Adding, "It was a lot of fun tonight, and I would love to see if we can get it done again tomorrow."
Staying in the hunt all night, Trevor Cline would lock down the final lock-in spot of fourth as Sam Johnson rounded out the top five finishers in the POWRi Outlaw Micro League feature in the Preliminary Night of the Eibach Racing Keith Kunz Motorsports Challenge presented by Start2Finish TV at Sweet Springs Motorsports Complex.
