Mechanicsburg - Under one month remains until the J & S Classics 63rd annual World of Outlaws National Open at Williams Grove Speedway on Friday and Saturday, October 3 and 4.
The two-day season finale at Williams Grove will see the best in the sprint car business from far and wide assemble at the Cumberland County oval for the prestigious event.
Saturday's 40-lap J & S Classics National Open itself will pay a whopping $75,000 to the winner.
All the excitement of the Williams Grove Speedway J & S Classics World of Outlaws National Open weekend gets underway Friday night, October 3 when round one takes to the track at 7:30 pm.
Outlaws pilot Carson Macedo of Lemoore, California, is the defending winner of the National Open finale and he is sure to be out to defend his title.
The 2014 and 2017 Open champion, current outlaws point leader David Gravel will likewise also be primed for the Williams Grove fall classic.
And local driver Anthony Macri, the reigning Kings Royal winner and a three-time World of Outlaws winner overall this season, will certainly be lining up to claim his first National Open crown.
His best finish to date in the event was a third in the 2022 version.
Macri owns four wins at the track to date in 2025 including one over the outlaws circuit.
The weekend will also serve to crown the 2025 Lawrence Chevrolet 410 sprint car Williams Grove Speedway track champion.
Currently, Troy Wagaman Jr. of Hanover leads the standings in his quest for a first ever oval title, holding sway by nearly 300 markers over Freddie Rahmer.
