BATAVIA, Ohio (March 23, 2026) - The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series presented by FloRacing continues its 2026 campaign with a doubleheader weekend, bringing the nation's top dirt late model drivers to Atomic Speedway in Ohio and Brownstown Speedway in Indiana.
The weekend action begins Friday, March 27 at Atomic Speedway in Chillicothe, Ohio, with the running of the Buckeye Spring 50, featuring a $15,000-to-win main event. The following night, Saturday, March 28, the series heads west to Brownstown Speedway for the 29th Annual Indiana Icebreaker, boasting a $25,000 winner's prize.
Both events mark the first Midwest appearances of the 2026 season following the traditional Speedweeks in the Southeast, where drivers battled through a grueling early-season slate to build momentum in the championship chase.
The pit gate at Atomic Speedway will open at 12:00 PM (noon), followed by general admission gates at 3:00 PM. All gates at Brownstown Speedway will open at 12:00 PM (noon).
Dirt Draft Hot Laps are slated to begin at 5:00 PM each day, followed by Allstar Performance Time Trials, Heat Races, B-Mains, and a 50-lap main event.
Atomic Speedway is located at 2535 Blain Highway in Waverly, Ohio - just off S.R. 23, six miles south of Chillicothe. For more information about Atomic Speedway, including how to purchase discounted tickets in advance, please visit AtomicSpeedway.net.
