10th annual Big Buck 50 winner's share boosted to $25,000 for October event

WHEATLAND, MO. (July 27, 2026) - One of the nation's premier races for Super Stocks is getting even bigger.
The 10th annual Big Buck 50 Presented by Whitetail Trophy Hunt, Oct. 8-10 at Lucas Oil Speedway, now will pay $25,000-to-win the 50-lap, final-night feature. The race has paid $10,000 to win in previous seasons.
"This is thanks to anonymous donations from one of Lucas Oil Speedway's season-ticket holders," General Manager Casey Shuman said. "We thank that person and look forward to having the biggest and best field of Super Stocks in Big Buck history."
MARS (Midwest Auto Racing Series) Late Models also will be in action each night for the Fall Nationals portion of the event.
Tickets will be available for purchase online in the near future.
Thursday Oct. 8 will be Super Stock hot laps, qualifying and heat races.
Late Models will also get an opportunity to run a few practice sessions as well. Friday will be a full program of Late Models ($5,000 to win) along with Super Stock heats and Qualifiers.
Saturday Oct. 10 will be another full program for Late Models ($10,000 to win) along with Super Stocks last-chance qualifiers, C and B features and Big Buck 50 feature event.
Johnny Fennewald of Appleton City won the Big Buck 50 race a year ago when it paid $10,000 to win.
