BOXING DAY BONANZA AT THE BRIDGE
Nominations are locked in for the first round of Brandt Australia Sprintcar Speedweek at Murray Machining & Sheds Murray Bridge Speedway this Friday night, December 26th.
NEW KING TO BE CROWNED
The race is on this Saturday night to crown this year's 'King of the Bridge' at Murray Bridge Speedway, while a Prince will also be crowned in the Junior Formula 500s. Series action continues with Round 2 of the MJS Street Stock Series, with another big field of Wingless Sprints also entered. Modlites and Junior Sedans complete the racing program which will see over 100 competitors take to the track. Tickets for the event are on sale now at www.speedwaytickets.com.au, with gates opening at 3pm and racing kicking off at 4.30pm. BIG FIELDS ENTERED AS MJS SERIES KICKS OFF
Over 80 competitors are entered for this Saturday night's event at Murray Machining & Sheds, Murray Bridge Speedway. The night features Round 1 of the MJS Street Stock Series, with a strong field of 27 drivers nominated. Nigel Reichstein returns as the reigning MJS Series Champion, while Drew Flatman is fresh off a feature win at the track on Opening Night. The wheel to wheel action of Wingless Sprints racing is also back, with another fantastic field of 36 cars entered, while 14 Junior Sedans will also be in action, racing off in New Stars and Top Stars heats before the all in feature event. Also making a welcome return to the 'bridge Saturday night are the 360/LS Sprintcars division which has seen a recent resurgence in the category. Excitement is high ahead of their first official race night of the season, after a successful series of hot lap sessions on Opening Night.
