Mechanicsburg - Williams Grove Speedway will return to action on Friday night, September 18 with another race in the 2026 Hoosier Diamond Series when the Kevin Gobrecht Challenge is staged for the Lawrence Chevrolet 410 sprint cars.
The HJ Towing & Recovery 358 sprints are also on the mid-September racing program, competing in another Dirty Deeds 25 event.
Action gets underway at 7:30 pm.
There will be no racing at the track on September 11.
The Lawrence Chevrolet 410 sprint car teams competed in the Fall Championship on September 4 with Doug Hammaker scoring his first ever win at the oval in full sprint competition.
A host of sprint car contingency prizes and awards were handed out at the championship race to the tune of some $7,000 in value.
Special gift certificates from Kreitz Oval Track Parts went to feature finishers Logan Rumsey, Chase D ietz, Joey Amantea, Kody Lehman and Buddy Schweibinz.
Sander Engineering heat winners that pocketed $500 Sander gift certificates were Dietz, Freddie Rahmer and Hammaker.
Dylan Norris won the Sharp Advantage Safety Products Dull Finish award, given to the driver that faltered the most in the main event.
After falling from the fifth starting spot to end up 21st, Norris took home a set of knee guards from Sharp Advantage.

Danny Dietrich won the PA Dyno Hard Charger Award after driving from eighth to third in the 30-lap feature.
Dietrich was awarded $100 and a four-hour chassis dyno session at PA Dyno.
Matt Miller pocketed the Sprint Car Innovations Tuff Time Award for clocking in the second slowest time trial lap of the night.
Miller took home a complete set of sprint car Torsion Arms from SCI by Kaeding Performance.
Packer's Concessions awarded Justin Whittall the $300 Hard Luck Award on the night after he flipped during practice laps.
Originally slated to be a bonus for the first non-qualifier, Hoseheads.com and J & S Classics presented a $300 Warrior Award to random feature finisher Matt Miller.
With the speedway starting all cars in the main event, negating a consolation race, the award was converted to a ramdomly drawn Warrior Award.
Logan Rumsey scored the $300 Fast Tees Fast Time Award in time trials with a quick lap of 16.797 seconds.
Every driver that entered the sprint car pit area for the Fall Championship took home randomly drawn gift certificates as supplied by: DMI, Hoosier Tires, Keizer Wheels, Kaeding Performance and VP Fuels.
