dirtfan.com is a directory of dirt tracks, race schedules, news, photos, and videos. This page describes what this site stores in your browser and which third-party services may run if you allow them. It is a description of current behavior, not legal advice.
What we store on your device
- Analytics and ads choice — a
dirtfan_consentvalue in local storage (acceptedordeclined) so we remember your choice. - Find races — search terms travel in the page URL (
q, distance, dates, class). We do not create an account for you. - Contact form — a session cookie is used only to check the form token (CSRF). Rate limiting uses a temporary file on the server keyed to IP address.
Analytics and advertising
If you choose Accept, we load Google Analytics (measurement ID G-MVWSBG2YSF) and Google AdSense (publisher ca-pub-6526580004341329). Those companies may set their own cookies. If you choose Continue without, we do not load those scripts on this visit.
Maps on Find Dirt Track Races uses the Google Maps JavaScript API when a browser key is configured.
Location searches are geocoded in your browser with google.maps.Geocoder, so Google
receives the location text needed to return coordinates. The site also has an optional legacy
/api/geocode proxy, but Find Dirt Track Races does not use it.
Change your choice
Use or the same control in the footer. Changing from accept to decline removes accessible dirtfan.com analytics cookies and reloads the page so ad and analytics scripts are not requested again. Cookies set directly by third parties may remain until they expire or you clear them in your browser.
