Mechanicsburg -Williams Grove Speedway will host the Wiltech Automotive Billy Kimmel Memorial for Lawrence Chevrolet 410 sprint cars coming up this Friday night, August 28 at 7:30 pm.
Presented by Wiltech Automotive, the 2026 Kimmel Memorial will be 25 laps in distance and pay $6,000 to win as part of the PA Posse Sprint Series.
The HJ Towing and Recovery 358 sprints are also on the program.
No driver has more wins in the Kimmel than Cory Haas who scored the race in 2010, 2015 and 2018.
Time trials will set the starting grids for the Kimmel Memorial for 410s with $300 being awarded to the overall fastest driver in qualifications as the Fast Tees Fast Time Award winner.
Brock Zearfoss is the defending Kimmel Memorial champion.
The 25-lap Kimmel Memorial is scheduled each year in honor of the fallen sprint car driver from Mechanicsburg.
At the age of 27, Kimmel was fatally injured in a sprint car racing accident at Williams Grove Speedway in 2007.

For the 358 sprints, the event will mark the first of the final three shows of the season.
So far this season wins in the 358 sprint division have gone to Chase Gutshall, Derek Locke, Cody Fletcher and Eli Tuckey.

Adult general admission for August 28 is $30 with students ages 13-20 admitted for $10.
