(Hartford, OH)...After a rain out last Saturday night, Sharon Speedway looks to return to action this Saturday night (August 29) as the All Star Circuit of Champions will make their final visit of the 2026 season in an event presented by Capitol Renegade. The Alcon Mechanical Econo Mods and Alcon Mechanical Crown Vics will also be part of the program. It's Diehl Automotive and Bucks Fabricating Night. Warmups get underway at 6:30 p.m. followed by qualifying with racing scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
After competing at Sharon on June 13 part of Ohio Sprint Speedweek in a race won by Zeth Sabo, the All Stars will return to Sharon on Saturday night for a $7,500 to-win event. Saturday will mark the next-to-last Hovis Auto & Truck Supply "410" Sprint Car event presented by Bala Management of the 97th anniversary season. The World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Cars will close out the 2026 Sharon season on Saturday, October 10.
Kalib Henry, the defending All Stars Driver Champion, leads the Series to Sharon once again atop the points standings in the Running Boxer Farm #101. Sabo, who won his first career All Stars and Sharon feature at the last visit, has now taken over the driving duties of Rudzik Racing #49x based out of nearby Struthers, Ohio. The Rudzik team won the 2025 All Stars Owner Championship and sit second in points currently. Cale Thomas, who recently exited the Rudzik #49x, has since moved to Bryan Grove's #45 where he won the most recent All Stars race last Saturday night at Butler, Michigan. Thomas also has two other non-sanctioned wins for Grove in Ohio and has the #45 third in owner points.
Saturday's event will not bring in the remainder of the All Stars full-time racers, but also the best from throughout Ohio, western Pa. and beyond. A pair of northern Ohio standouts in Cap Henry and Chris Andrews have already stated their intentions to compete at Sharon on Saturday night.
The All Stars have made 115 visits to Sharon with 55 different winners. Doug Wolfgang and Kenny Jacobs lead the way with 10 wins a piece. Dave Blaney is third with eight victories over Dale Blaney with seven wins. Cap Henry is the only other active racer with multiple wins at two.
Sharon has completed five "410" Sprint Car events thus far in 2026 with five different winners! The wins by invaders Logan Wagner (Western PA Speedweek), Sabo (Ohio Speedweek), and Dylan Norris (July 25) were all the first wins of their career at Sharon. Brandon Spithaler won just the second Sharon "410" Sprint Car race of his career on June 27. And most recently, Dale Blaney joined his brother Dave as the only multiple winners of the Sprint Car portion of the "Lou Blaney Memorial" with his second event victory on August 1.
The Alcon Mechanical Econo Mods will be running in their fourth program of the 97th anniversary season. After going winless in 2025, Jeremy Double is three-for-three in 2026! All three events have had 26 or 27 cars on hand meaning Double has taken home $600 for his efforts for each victory and all competitors in their field received a payoff boost. Double has now won an all-time Econo Mod best 25 times at Sharon.
Rounding out the three-division program on Saturday night will be the Alcon Mechanical Crown Vic division. The Crown Vics made their season debut on May 30 with a record 19-car field as Brad Shaffer scored the victory. The Longwells then ripped off three straight wins. Coleton Longwell won two-in-a-row giving him a division best three victories since the division debuted last season, and his father Jason on July 25. Most recently, Branden Porter won his first career Sharon feature over a 16-car field on August 15. Summit Racing Equipment will present the hard charger award on Saturday night to the Crown Vics. The driver that passes the most cars in the feature will receive a $100 Summit gift card. In the event of a tie, the tiebreaker will be the driver that finishes highest in the feature.

Fans can not only experience viewing from the frontstretch and backstretch grandstands, but also from the infield fan zone, which includes concessions and restrooms. Sharon is the only track in the area to have viewing from the unique infield perspective. There will be times throughout the night when fans can cross on the frontstretch back and forth.
The pits will be open throughout the day on Saturday with passes going on sale at 4 p.m., while general admission opens at 5. Warmups will get underway at 6:30 p.m. followed by qualifying for the Sprint Cars with heat races scheduled for 7:30. Grandstand/fan zone admission for those 14 and over is $25.
