47th Annual Jackson 100 Brings Lucas Oil Late Model Stars to Brownstown Speedway

One of Indiana's most celebrated dirt-track traditions returns next week when Brownstown Speedway hosts the 47th Annual WillScot Jackson 100 presented by Jackson County Visitor Center on Friday and Saturday, September 25-26.

The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series presented by FloRacing will headline both nights, bringing many of the nation's premier Super Late Model drivers to Brownstown Speedway.

Friday's program featuring the 5th Annual CJ Rayburn Memorial, presented by Jackson County Visitor Center, will pay $10,000 to the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series winner. The evening will also include the 15th Annual Bowman Family 50 for the Indiana Late Model Series Pro Late Models.

The stakes rise Saturday with the 47th Annual WillScot Jackson 100 presented by Jackson County Visitor Center, a 100-lap test paying $50,000 to win. Brownstown's Pure Stocks will complete Saturday's racing card.

All gates will open at 3:00 PM on Friday and 12:00 PM (noon) on Saturday. A Dirt Racing Outreach service will take place at 2:00 PM on Saturday, followed by an autograph session with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series drivers from 4:30 PM - 5:15 PM. The on-track action is set to begin at 6:00 PM each night.

Defending winner Ricky Thornton Jr. will be among the weekend's leading storylines. Thornton captured the 2025 Jackson 100 after taking command on lap 76 of a closely contested feature, earning his second victory in the prestigious event in three years.

Devin Moran also figures prominently in the Brownstown conversation. The defending Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series national champion has repeatedly shown speed at the Jackson County oval, including a victory in the 2026 Indiana Icebreaker in March. Brandon Sheppard, Hudson O'Neal, Max Blair, Brandon Overton and other national and regional standouts are expected to make the Jackson 100 weekend one of the season's most competitive events.

Brownstown Speedway is located on the Jackson County Fairgrounds at 476 East County Road 100 South in Brownstown, Indiana. For more information or to purchase tickets in advance, please visit BrownstownSpeedway.com.

Following the cancellation of the Lucas Oil Late Model Knoxville Nationals because of heavy rainfall, the $5,000 Big River Steel bonus originally scheduled for Knoxville will now be awarded during Friday night's program at Brownstown Speedway. The highest-finishing eligible driver in Friday's 5th Annual CJ Rayburn Memorial will receive the additional $5,000 Big River Steel bonus.

The originally scheduled UNOH bonus will remain in place for Saturday's 47th Annual Jackson 100. The highest-finishing eligible driver from among the top 15 in the championship standings in the 100-lap finale will collect the additional $5,000.
