  Hartmann wraps High Limit-Outlaws week, sights in Seymour-Shawano

  (PEDAL DOWN PROMOTIONS) June 10, 2026 - Following a four-race stretch against the best in the business with High Limit Racing and the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series, Austin Hartmann and the members of the 87A Hartmann Racing Team are set to return to Bumper to Bumper Interstate Racing Association action this weekend at Outagamie Speedway and Shawano Speedway. Hartmann qualified 13th in Group A among 32 cars on hand with the High Limit Racing Sprint Car Series at Red Cedar Speedway in Menomonie, Wis. on Wednesday, June 3 with a time of 13.731 seconds. The Plymouth, Wis. competitor placed seventh in heat race number one before concluding his night with a fifth-place finish in the Last Chance Showdown to miss out on an A-main berth by one spot. One night later at Gondik Law Speedway in Superior, Wis. on Thursday, June 4, Hartmann qualified 20th among the 29 cars on hand with a time of 13.770 seconds. After racking up a seventh-place showing in the second heat race and third-place finish in the Last Chance Showdown, Hartmann fired off from the 21st starting position in the 30-lap headliner. After completing seven laps of the main event, Hartmann pulled off and was credited with a 23rd-place finish. The team came home to compete with the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series at The Plymouth Dirt Track on Saturday, June 6. Hartmann qualified 30th among the 33 cars on hand before finishing eighth in heat two and wrapping up the night with an eighth-place showing in the Last Chance Showdown. Hartmann capped the four-race week with a trip to Angell Park Speedway in Sun Prairie, Wis. with the World of Outlaws. With 27 cars on hand, the 2024 Bumper to Bumper Interstate Racing Association Most Improved Driver qualified 23rd in 12.146 seconds and placed eighth in the second heat race. After launching from 23rd in the 40-lap A main, Hartmann had advanced to 18th before pulling off the track on lap 5. He was credited with a 22nd place finish. "It was a fun week for sure," Hartmann said. "We didn't get results we were shooting for but learned a lot. I'm excited to get back in the seat this weekend for two nights of racing." Hartmann is set to compete with the Bumper to Bumper Interstate Racing Association this Friday, June 12 at Outagamie Speedway in Seymour, Wis. On Saturday, June 13, Hartmann is set to head to Shawano Speedway in Shawano, Wis. with the IRA.   (PEDAL DOWN PROMOTIONS) June 10, 2026 - Travis Arenz entered uncharted territory with his 25T 410 Sprint Car Saturday, June 6, qualifying for his first-career NOS Energy Drink World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series A main in front of a record crowd at The Plymouth Dirt Track in Plymouth, Wis. The Sheboygan Falls, Wis. competitor started the evening off strong as he qualified 10th overall in the stout 33-car field with a lap of 11.567 seconds. After dropping from the third starting spot to finish sixth in heat race number two, the two-time Plymouth Dirt Track Racing and Midwest Sprint Car Association 360 Sprint Car champ finished fourth in the Last Chance Showdown to gain a berth in the 35-lap World of Outlaws main event for the first time in his 19-season career. After rolling off 24th, Arenz's night came to an early end after contacting an infield tire and flipping in turn two to end with a 24th-place showing. "We qualified well with World of Outlaws," Arenz said. "I've been working on being more consistent with qualifying, and I've been pretty happy with the results. Unfortunately, I didn't keep up with the car and track well enough later on in the night, and I made way too many mistakes in the heat and feature. "There was a decent amount of damage from the accident, but we will get it back together for both Outagamie County and Shawano this coming weekend," he said. Arenz is scheduled to return to Bumper to Bumper Interstate Racing Association action this Friday, June 12, at Outagamie Speedway in Seymour, Wis.   Turk Letizia Crowned King

  Shawano, WI - Turk Letizia was crowned King of the WABAM Dirt Kings Late Model Tour Spring Thaw at Shawano Speedway in BMRE Electrick Carts Co Victory Lane to start the 2026 season. Letizia completed the clean sweep for the second time in WABAM Dirt Kings Late Model Tour action, after securing his first win at Plymouth Dirt Track Racing during the 2022 season. Letizia had a 20.309 second lap in Qualifying, the fastest lap of the night, earning the Champ Pans Fast Qualifier Award. Letizia also was the Ken's Sports Inc. Pole Sitter, leading the field to the green flag of the Spring Thaw with Nick Anvelink. Letizia and Anvelink raced side by side into turn one, with Letizia clipping the tractor tire in two and recovered to hold the lead. The racing surface had a lot of character, causing some early cautions with the tractor tire in turn two. Letizia mastered the track conditions and had a fast car, turning several laps under his qualifying run earlier in the night. Letizia was flawless in his restarts, keeping Joel Bennett, Andy Karl, Troy Springborn and Lukas Postl behind him. Letizia started to stretch his lead, as Todd Frank moved to second, 4.184 seconds behind the leader, just past halfway in the Spring Thaw. Letizia continued to pace the field, extending his lead each lap. With five laps to go, Letizia held a 9.764 second lead over Frank. Letizia took the white flag with a 13.244 second lead over second place and even with a flat left rear tire, Letizia held on to win the 10th WABAM Dirt Kings Late Model Tour season opener, the Spring Thaw at the legendary half mile. Letizia finished 11.022 seconds ahead of Frank, followed by Bennett, Springborn and Karl. Justin Ritchie and Postl finished on the lead lap, as Letizia had lapped the eighth place finisher Chris Oertel. Letizia arrived in BMRE Electrick Carts Victory Lane to be crowned King and celebrated with his family and crew. Ritchie earned The Pues Family Hard Charger bonus and an additional $250, gaining 8 positions during the Spring Thaw.
