Track information
Sitting on a hill alongside the Whanganui River, and overlooking the Tasman Sea, Oceanview Family Speedway is known as “the Oval by the Oceanâ€. Built by Roy Eaton and Paul Carrick, along with a band of willing helpers, the speedway opened for its first race meeting on 29 October 1972.
Oceanview Speedway races Superstocks, Stockcars, Production Saloons, Sidecars, Adult Ministocks, Youth Ministocks, Minisprints, Midgets, and Streetstocks.
