- Sabo gets 410 win, Henry Attica title; Moore takes late model win and track title; Jedrzejek gets 305 win and Schneider gets track title
ATTICA, Ohio - Zeth Sabo has been so close to winning a 410 sprint car feature in 2025 only to see some mechanical issues or some bizarre circumstance get in the way. The Tiffin, Ohio driver was able to put together a very solid night Friday, Sept. 5, at Attica Raceway Park to score his third career win at the track on Ferguson Waterworks/Kistler Racing Products/Custom Chrome Plating Presents the Mark Keegan Classic. It looked like Kasey Jedrzejek, fresh off his first All Star Circuit of Champions win on Aug. 31 at Wayne County Speedway, was going to get his first 410 sprint win of the year at Attica as he led the first 16 laps. A flat front tire sent him to the pits and handed the lead to Sabo, who had stayed within striking distance the first half of the race. Sabo, aboard his Level Utilities/NAPA Auto Parts/Limo Scene Limo Services/Kiser Sound/Valvoline/Linder's Speed Equipment/Adaptive OWE/BSE Fabrication backed machine, had to hold off a late race challenge in lapped traffic from Cap Henry and claimed an additional $1,000 bonus for claiming the bounty on Henry. "I can't thank my guys enough. We've been busting tail lately and just weird things have happened that we've never had happen before. I have to thank Rich and Shelly Farmer for letting me do what I've always wanted to do and letting all of us go the races every weekend. To do this on the last night of the year at Attica on the Mark Keegan Classic is pretty cool," said Sabo. Henry, who won the last four features in a row at Attica, settled for second and claimed his third straight Callie's Performance Products 410 Sprint track title, his fourth overall at the track. Craig Mintz, Trey Jacobs and Mike Keegan rounded out the top five. "I really wanted to win that race. We've never won the Mark Keegan Classic. I'm proud of my guys. It's been a really good year. Minus the Outlaw shows we had a 100 percent podium rate here," said Henry. Henry's runner-up finish wrapped up his third straight and fourth overall championship in the Kistler Racing Products/All Pro Aluminum Cylinder Heads Attica Fremont Championship Series Presented by the Baumann Auto Group and its $10,000 top prize. Ken Hahn led the first two laps of the Dirt Nerds Podcast Powered by Propane UMP Late Model feature before Mike Bores took over for two laps surrendering the lead to Devin Shiels on lap six with fourth starter Kyle Moore taking over the lead on lap seven. Moore battled Shiels for a hand full of laps before pulling away to score his fifth Attica win of 2025 aboard his Kepling Flooring, Tye Tworg Longhorn, Joyride Transportation, Smitley Towing, Short Stop, Malcuit Race Engines, Wilson Realty, Robin Jakubick, RL Bond Septic, Hepthorn Golf Cart Sales, House of Spud, K&B Septic Service, Coffman Composites, Team Midwest Paint, Platinum Design backed #1*. His 11th career win at Attica brings his total feature win tally to 19 overall in 2025 and came over Shiels, Ryan Markham, JR Gentry and Gregg Haskell. Moore earned his second straight Attica late model championship as well. "This is a great facility. The fans are the best and thanks to Justin Liskai and the Bores family for being stand-up people. They went to bat for me this week and I appreciate it. Without Justin and John Bores I wouldn't have been here tonight. There's some stuff going on behind the scenes and it will take care of itself. I want to thank my crew, my brother Brad, Froggy, Barry, Team Skinny, my family and everyone on this car," said Moore. Jedrzejek got a little redemption in the Fremont Fence 305 A-main, leading all 25 laps for his fifth career division win at Attica. Dustin Stroup, Blayne Keckler (from 11th), Jimmy McGrath (from 18th) and Seth Schneider rounded out the top five. "Jimmy (Taddeo, car owner) brings the best stuff to the track and gives us the best chance every time we come out with this car," said Jedrzejek beside his Greber Racing Components, KMU Residential, UD Maintenance, John Wright Custom Chrome, Ronda Jedrzejek at Howard Hanna, Heat Star, Mr. Heater, Fisher Custom Printing, Northern Ohio Septic and Sewer, A+Creations, Amherst Auto Body backed #4T. Schneider, from Fremont, earned his first ever Attica track championship. "I slowed up and didn't take any chances the last part of that race…I didn't want to screw up. This track championship means a lot. I was pretty much garbage for about two to three seasons in a row coming into this season and I have to thank my wife…she could have told me to quit. Kevin put a lot of effort and money into this car and it's been bad ass. Aaron Hammer and Guy Myers put a lot of effort into this car and it's been pretty awesome," said Schneider. Jamie Miller was scheduled to start on the pole for the feature but mechanical issues forced him to the tail and he charged to a ninth place finish. However, the points battle for the Real Geese/Design Graphics Group/ Real Capz Attica Fremont Championship Series for the 305 sprints will now come down to Saturday, Sept. 6 at Fremont Speedway. The staff at Attica Raceway Park thanks all the fans, race teams and marketing partners for another fantastic year of racing and looks for to March 2026 to do it all again. - Henry sweeps All Stars at Attica Ambush; Ivy ends two year 305 drought
ATTICA, Ohio - Cap Henry reminded everyone Saturday, Aug. 30 that he is equally dominate at Attica Raceway Park on a slick track as he is a heavy racing surface. The three time and defending track champion led all 35 laps of the non-stop NAPA Auto Parts All Star Circuit of Champions Presented by Valvoline A-main to sweep the 37th annual Attica Ambush for his eighth win of 2025 at "Ohio's Finest Racing" speed plant. The victory on Great Lakes Truck Centers/Core & Main/All Pro Aluminum Cylinder Heads Night was worth $7,500 and was Henry's fourth straight win at Attica and the eighth of the season at the track. Out of the 14 events at Attica in 2025, Henry hasn't finished out of the top three with the exception of the pair of World of Outlaw races. It was his 28th career 410 sprint win at Attica, placing him third on the track's all-time win list for the division behind Mark Keegan and Byron Reed. It was his 10th career All Star victory. Henry leads the nation in 410 sprint car victories in 2025 with 15. Not only did Henry lead every lap, but he lapped up to 11th place and won by nearly nine seconds over Justin Clark, who posted his best ever finish with the All Stars, Zane DeVault, Bryce Lucius and Devon Borden who charged from 22nd. "When the track's like that it goes out to the crew guys. Zack, Jeff, Gary, Chris, Chad, Tony…Zack kept working on that thing after the heat race and after the dash. I know the past couple of weeks the track's been fast and everyone thought that was our specialty and everyone forgot I was good at slick tracks before that. I'm just so proud of the guys. This is so much fun with the car is this fast," said Henry beside his Premier Planning Service, Jeff Ward Demolition, Ohio Logistics, Primal Tee Shop, Innovative Excavating, Elliott's Custom Trailers and Carts, FK Rod Ends, King Racing, Griff's Engines; Berryman Racing Shocks, Callie's Performance Products, Dyers, Power Cool Manufacturing, SCS Gearbox, Tony Elliott Foundation backed #33W. For Clark, who only has a few 410 sprint features under his belt after coming out of the 305 sprint ranks, his second place run - his second runner-up finish at Attica in 2025 - is a career best with the All Stars. "It's pretty unbelieveable. A big change from last night when I broke the throttle pedal in the B-main. I felt pretty comfortable…I don't race a lot so any laps are valuable. I talked to a few people and got the car a lot better for today. I'm very thankful for everything my parents do for me," said Clark beside his Clark Farms/Simpson Race Products backed #78. Fremont, Ohio's John Ivy has visited victory lane many times at Attica over his career. A former 410 and 305 Attica champion, Ivy has wins in 410 and 305 sprints and dirt trucks at Attica. However, it's been a few years since he made an appearance in victory lane. That streak came to an end Saturday. Ivy, who started fourth in the Fremont Fence 305 Sprint A-main, grabbed the lead from Logan Mongeau on lap 18 in the non-stop 25 lap affair and drove to his 18th career 305 sprint win over Mongeau, who lead the opening 17 laps, current point leader Seth Schneider, defending track champion Jamie Miller and Jimmy McGrath Jr. "It's been at least two years since I've won here…it's too damn long. They had it locked down pretty good for me tonight. I just had to bide my time…I was starting to over drive it there a little bit and I had to tell myself to settle down. I could see I was gaining and gaining and we got to lapped traffic and I was like 'yes.' AJ has to listen to it every night when I get home and I think about being done. She tells me you aren't done…you don't know what you would do. I want to thank all my guys," said Ivy beside his C&N Construction Supplies, Sonny's Machine & Welding, Pub 400, Fox's Painting, Level Performance, Level Utilities, SC Atkinson Farms, MRE of Ohio, Welty Financial Services, Dave Story Equipment & Repair, NAPA of Bryan, Kistler Racing Products, Minich Installations, Meade Motorcars backed #49i. Attica Raceway Park will wrap up the 2025 season Friday, Sept. 5 with the Mark Keegan Classic featuring the All Pro Aluminum Cylinder Heads/Kistler Racing Products Attica Fremont Championship Series Presented by the Bauman Auto Group 410 Sprints, the Design Graphics Group/Real Capz AFCS 305 Sprints and the Dirt Nerds Podcast Powered by Propane UMP late models on season championship night. - Henry breaks All Star streak with 7th win of the year at Attica; Moore hustles to Iron Man late model win
ATTICA, Ohio - Cap Henry broke a two year winless streak with the NAPA Auto Parts All Star Circuit of Champions Presented by Valvoline Friday, Aug. 29, to open up the 37th Annual Attica Ambush. It was his third straight win at Attica, the seventh of the year at the track and was worth $5,000 on Great Lakes Truck Centers/Core & Main/Murphy Tractor/The Adkins Group Night. Henry, a three time Attica track champion, led all 35 laps of the feature event for his ninth career All Star victory, his first since April of 2022. It is his 27th career 410 win at Attica. Henry is now tied with Ryan Timms and Rico Abreu for the most 410 winged sprint wins in 2025 in the nation, each with 14 victories Henry had to survive a green-white-checker finish and was running out of fuel at the end but hung on to win over Cale Thomas, Kasey 10th starter Kasey Jedrzejek, Bryan Sebetto and 20th starter Craig Mintz. "We got lucky there…it was running out of fuel the last lap. These guys have to figure out the fuel lap count…it's just not right. Luckily we got ourselves in position to start on the front row. I felt like we were pretty good in traffic. All my guys have worked so hard this year. To win another All Star race…to be honest I didn't think we were going to do that any time soon," said Henry beside his Premier Planning Service, Jeff Ward Demolition, Ohio Logistics, Primal Tee Shop, Innovative Excavating, Elliott's Custom Trailers and Carts, FK Rod Ends, King Racing, Griff's Engines; Berryman Racing Shocks, Callie's Performance Products, Dyers, Power Cool Manufacturing, SCS Gearbox, Tony Elliott Foundation backed #33W. Thomas, from Fountaintown, Ind., was also running low on fuel on that last run. "I had my troubles at the beginning of the night…we pulled through. I put myself in position to challenge Cap and I got into the wreck with Bryce Lucius and Cody Bova had nowhere to go…stuff was vibrating and you're trying to beat the guy who's the best here and it's really tough. And that last restart I was running out of fuel so I couldn't even try to put a move on him," said Thomas beside his Rudzik Excavating, AL Drivelines, Centerline Boring, Smith Titanium backed #49X. It was the 142nd appearance of the All Stars at Attica, the first in two years as three other attempts were rained out in 2025. Defending UMP Late Model track champion Kyle Moore led all 30 laps of the Valvoline American Late Model Iron Man Series for his second career series win. Moore's $5,000 payday is the fourth of the year at Attica and his 10th career late model win at the track. He has 16 total late model victories in 2025. In a race that saw only one caution, Moore won by over three seconds over Chad Finley, Todd Brennan, Colten Burdette and Greg Oakes. "Car's been good. We're excited. Damn this car is good. I have to thank Tye Tworg for giving me this opportunity. He's given me a great car and a lot of help," said Moore beside his Kepling Flooring, Tye Tworg Longhorn, Joyride Transportation, Smitley Towing, Short Stop, Malcuit Race Engines, Wilson Realty, Robin Jakubick, RL Bond Septic, Hepthorn Golf Cart Sales, House of Spud, K&B Septic Service, Coffman Composites, Team Midwest Paint, Platinum Design backed #1*. The Attica Ambush will continue Saturday, Aug. 30 with the NAPA Auto Parts All Star Circuit of Champions Presented by Valvoline Sprint Car Series and the Fremont Fence 305 Sprints. - Bobby Elliott Hospitalized After Crash at Attica
Bobby Elliott was transported to a local area hospital following a crash Friday night at Attica Raceway Park during the All Star Circuit of Champions portion of the Attica Ambush.
 - Henry Sweeps Attica Ambush Weekend
Cap Henry reminded everyone Saturday, Aug.
 - Henry keeps rolling with Attica 410 win; Moore scores late model victory; McGrath tames 305 sprints
ATTICA, Ohio - Cap Henry continued his dominance at Attica Raceway Park, Friday, Aug. 22, driving to his sixth 410 sprint win of the year at the track on Wilson Tire/Central Ohio Farmers/Ohio CAT/Cam Tech Industrial Services Night. The three time and defending track champion took the lead from Chris Andrews on lap 11 and cruised to his 26th career Callie's Performance Products 410 Sprint win at Attica. It is his 12 overall victory of 2025. The bounty on Henry increases to $700 for Sept. 5. Other than the two World of Outlaw NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series events at Attica, Henry, who started fourth in the 30 lap feature Friday, has not finished out of the top three the rest of the season at Attica Raceway Park. Bryan Sebetto rallied late to take second with eighth starter DJ Foos finished third, and Chris Andrews and Bryce Lucius rounded out the top five. "I thought we were going to have our work cut out for us there. The track was pretty fast and Chris (Andrews) was fast early. I started to move around there and Zack had that thing pretty good and I could move down. Traffic was starting to get a little bit tricky. That car is just so fast…it kind of scared me early in the race. It was puffing smoke and I was having to wipe the visor to get the oil off of it. I'm so proud of my guys, Jeff, Chris, Chad, Gary, Jeff and everyone involved in this thing. It's really special. I've dreamed of having a season like this. We did it in 2020 and came close in 2023," said Henry beside his Premier Planning Service, Jeff Ward Demolition, Ohio Logistics, Primal Tee Shop, Innovative Excavating, Elliott's Custom Trailers and Carts, FK Rod Ends, King Racing, Griff's Engines; Berryman Racing Shocks, Callie's Performance Products, Dyers, Power Cool Manufacturing, SCS Gearbox, Tony Elliott Foundation backed #33W. The Dirt Nerds Podcast Powered by Propane UMP Late Model feature was shaping up to be a barn-burner late in the 25-lap affair. After Matt Irey led the opening lap, defending track champion Kyle Moore took over until Rusty Schlenk grabbed the lead on lap 12 after a spirited battle with Moore for several laps. Moore stayed within striking distance until a caution with just eight laps to go. On the ensuing restart Schlenk encountered some mechanical woes, bringing out the caution and handing the lead back to Moore, who drove to his third win of the season. A fantastic battle behind Moore saw Ryan Missler edge out Devin Shiels for second with Irey and Ryan Markham rounding out the top five. The victory was Moore's ninth career win at Attica in the last two seasons. "Last week I thought I had a shot at winning but I messed up. I hate to win it like that tonight….you was going to see a hell of a race. But, I've lost a lot of them like that," said Moore beside his Kepling Flooring, Tye Tworg Longhorn, Joyride Transportation, Smitley Towing, Short Stop, Malcuit Race Engines, Wilson Realty agent Robin Jakubick, RL Bond Septic, Hepthorn Golf Cart Sales, House of Spud, K&B Septic Service, Coffman Composites, Team Midwest Paint, Platinum Design backed #1*. John Ivy led the first eight laps of the Fremont Fence 305 Sprint feature before Jimmy McGrath took over. Ivy stayed within striking distance and had a shot when the caution flew on lap 16. McGrath rim-rode while Ivy cruised the bottom and stayed within a car length the rest of the way. McGrath took his second win of the year at Attica and his third career win at the trak over Ivy, Dustin Stroup, Paul Weaver and 13th starter Seth Schneider. McGrath collected the $500 bounty as Jamie Miller, who has five wins at Attica in 2025, got into a flipping car early and finished eighth. "Johnny made me nervous. I know he's pretty good on the bottom and I was kind of hesitant to go to the top but it worked," said McGrath beside his MAK Fabrication, BSE Welding & Fabrication, Sulfer Town Pub, Level Utilities, B&B Drain Service, Level Performance, WDLC Sheds & More, Wood Wizard, D2 Excavating #5JR. Attica Raceway Park will be in action Friday and Saturday, Aug. 29 and 30 for the Attica Ambush. The NAPA Auto Parts All Star Circuit of Champions will be joined by the American Iron Man Late Model Series on Friday night with the 305 sprints joining the All Star sprints on Saturday. - Henry continues 410 dominance at Attica; Shiels gets 1st Late model win; Schneider earns 3rd 305 victory
ATTICA, Ohio - Cap Henry continued his dominating season with his fifth win of the year Friday, Aug. 15 at Attica Raceway Park. The three time and defending track champion survived a late race caution to score the win on Croghan Colonial Bank/Five Star Maintenance/FE Kroka & Associates/Ohio Truck Sales Night. The Republic, Ohio driver started fifth in the 30-lap Callie's Performance Products 410 Sprint feature and took the lead from Zeth Sabo on lap eight and drove to his 25th career win at Attica and 10th overall victory in 2025. Bryce Lucius, DJ Foos, TJ Michael and Larry Kingseed Jr. rounded out the top five. "In qualifying we blew a power steer line and me being a very unprepared race car driver I didn't bring a spare uniform so Mike Bores let me borrow one of his. The guys did a good job after qualifying getting the power steering changed out. That car was fast and it was fun…it's fun when your stuff's that good and you can just move around. Zack (Myers) did a bunch of stuff we haven't done all year and I'm just glad he's working on my car and I get to drive this thing," said Henry beside his Premier Planning Service, Jeff Ward Demolition, Ohio Logistics, Primal Tee Shop, Innovative Excavating, Elliott's Custom Trailers and Carts, FK Rod Ends, King Racing, Griff's Engines; Berryman Racing Shocks, Callie's Performance Products, Dyers, Power Cool Manufacturing, SCS Gearbox, Tony Elliott Foundation backed #33W. Since no one could defeat Henry, the Attica Raceway Park bounty increases to $600 next Friday. Britton, Michigan's Devin Shiels, a five time Attica track champion in the Dirt Nerds Podcast Powered by Propane UMP Late Models, has been held winless in 2025 at "Ohio's Finest Racing" speed plant. That came to an end Friday as Shiels took the lead from Larry Bellman on lap five and held off numerous late challenges from Matt Irey and Kyle Moore to score his 21st career victory at Attica. Irey, Gregg Haskell, Collin Shipley and Ryan Markham rounded out top five. While battling for the lead with seven laps remaining, Moore, the current and defending Attica point leader, got into the front stretch wall, ending his night. With the victory, Shiels collected the $500 for the bounty the track put on Moore. "I figured Kyle would be ripping the lip and doing something crazy here…he's pretty darn good here. It was a pretty demanding track, I think I heated up pretty good. We've led some here this year and broke a lot of stuff," said Shiels beside his Magic Fountain Auto Wash, Rally's Hamburgers, Dundee Products, Banshee Graphics, Salenbein Trucking & Excavating; T-Town Lawn Care, Dirt Nerds Podcast,Continental Service, Emerson's Cigar Lounge backed #51. While the stats show he led all 25 laps of the feature, Fremont, Ohio's Seth Schneider had to hold off a hard charging Blayne Keckler the final five laps to score his third win of the season in the Fremont Fence 305 Sprints at Attica. It's Schneider's fourth overall victory of 2025 and his fourth career win at Attica and it came over Keckler, Logan Mongeau, John Ivy and Steve Rando. Defending track champion and current point leader Jamie Miller was involved in a heat race crash and did not compete in the A-main so the bounty on him increases to $600 should someone defeat him next Friday. "That motor gets it. I have to thank Bryan (Sebetto) for letting me run it all year. That thing is bad ass…thanks Level Performance. Kevin (Schlachter, car owner) did a lot of homework and learned a lot over the off-season. He's freaking awesome…he got us here," said Schneider beside his Josh Kromers Seamless Gutters, Commercial Glazing Systems, Overwatch Precision, Level Performance, Level Utilities, Sandusky Bay Remodeling, RCF Chassis backed #36. Attica Raceway Park will be back in action Friday, Aug. 22 with the 410 and 305 sprints and UMP Late Models in action. - Bounties put on division leaders at Attica Raceway Park
ATTICA, Ohio - Sometimes things change, sometimes they stay the same. The dominance of the three point leaders at Attica Raceway Park in 2025 has not changed from a year ago. In the Callies Performance 410 Sprints three time and defending Attica champion Cap Henry has a 138 point lead with 4 wins in 12 races. In the DirtNerds Podcast Powered by Propane UMP Late Models defending track champion Kyle Moore has a 79 point lead with 2 wins in 11 races. In the Fremont Fence 305 Sprints five time and defending track champion Jamie Miller has a 26 point lead with 5 wins in 11 races. Going into the last three full points nights, (Aug. 15, Aug. 22 and Sept. 5) Attica Raceway Park will put a bounty on all three division point leaders. The bounty will start at an extra $500 to any driver who can beat Cap Henry, Kyle Moore, or Jamie Miller. If those drivers win Friday, Aug. 15 the bounty will rise to $600 for Aug. 22. If Henry, Moore or Miller win Aug. 22 the bounty will rise to $1,000 on championship night. "Our weekly competition is tough in all three divisions. For these three drivers to be so dominant all year really says something about them and their teams," said John Bores, Attica Raceway Park Promoter. In order to collect the bounty the point leaders need to be competing in the A-Main. Once a bounty is collected it will then be taken away from that driver. "Usually you only see a bounty in one division…we have it in all three! Im looking forward to see who can take down the point leaders and take home these bounties," said Justin Liskai, Attica Raceway Park Director of Operations.
