  DALE BLANEY WINS $12,000 "410" SPRINT CAR THRILLER FOR "LOU BLANEY MEMORIAL" VICTORY #2 AT SHARON; BRP MOD TOUR TO ERICK RUDOLPH FOR HIS 4TH EVENT VICTORY

  (Hartford, OH)...Despite showers scattered around, Mother Nature gave Sharon Speedway a reprieve on Saturday night allowing the 18th annual "Lou Blaney Memorial" to be completed without a hitch. A large crowd witnessed an action-packed night of tremendous racing as Dale Blaney (Hovis Auto & Truck Supply "410" Sprint Cars presented by Bala Management) and Erick Rudolph (BRP Mod Tour for the Hovis Auto & Truck Supply Big Blocks) celebrated in the Hovis Auto & Truck Supply Victory Lane. It was Ryan Blaney Family Foundation and Bala Management Night. Last September, Dale Blaney ended the 2025 season at Sharon by becoming the oldest winner in World of Outlaws Sprint Car history at 61. On Saturday night, Blaney out-dueled 19-year-old, recent Attica Raceway Park World of Outlaws winner, Bryce Lucius, to score the $12,000 "Lou Blaney Memorial" victory for his brother and car owner Dave Blaney. Unlike Dave, who called it a career two years ago in victory lane after winning his third "Lou Blaney Memorial" at the age of 61, Dale wasn't quite ready to hang up the helmet after his second event win at the age of 62. After leading laps 17-28, Blaney got back by Lucius on lap 32 to become the season's fifth different "410" Sprint Car winner in as many events. "To win this race a second time is pretty damn special," expressed the Hartford, Ohio native. "I'm not going to do what Dave (Blaney) did and be done because we have a couple more races we want to compete in; we'll get after it in a couple weeks. I appreciate everyone coming. My daughter (Leah) is here along with Cale Conley (husband of Emma Blaney), who was won this race and is part of the family. It's great to have them here and the kids." "He's (Lucius) a really good kid and a great race car driver," stated Blaney. "I got to Nash (Ely) and got stalled and couldn't work the corner up there and was losing ground to him (Lucius). I went to the bottom and Bryce went by and I was like 'I have to do something' so I got my wing back and I think Bryce messed up off (turn) two and let me get a run on him. I was trying to get into the corners as hard as I could and catch the cushion and it worked out." Lucius, who was making just his second career Sharon start and first since last September's World of Outlaws show, used the outside to power into the early lead in the feature over Zeth Sabo, A.J. Flick, Ricky Peterson, and Blaney. Those five racers would put on quite a show for the fans and those watching on DIRTVision over the 35-lap feature, which would go non-stop in 10:19.539. Blaney and Peterson battled hard for fourth swapping the spot back and forth numerous times before Blaney got by for good on lap seven. Blaney then put a slider on Flick in turn four two laps later to capture third. Blaney tracked down Sabo and put a similar move on the June 13 Ohio Speedweek All Star Circuit of Champions winner that he did on Peterson and Flick to overtake second on lap 13. Meanwhile, Lucius was navigating lapped traffic beginning on lap seven and by the time Blaney reached second, he had a half-straightaway lead. That advantage was quickly eroded as it only took Blaney two laps to catch the leader. Blaney once again performed a slider in turn four snatch the lead away from Lucius on lap 17. Blaney never got much more than a half-straightaway advantage on Lucius, who stayed within striking distance in lapped traffic. Lucius continued to power around the fence and tracked Blaney back down on lap 28. Lucius squeezed by the National Sprint Car Hall of Famer off turn two to regain the lead on lap 29. Blaney though wasn't about to let the race slip away as he made what would be the winning pass on lap 32. Lucius' bid for the $12,000 payday ended when he hit the fence one too many times and slowed coming to the white flag, which allowed Flick to move into second. Flick made a last ditch effort to get under Blaney in turn four coming to the checkered flag, but came up 0.641 seconds shy. The Blaney Brothers remain the only repeat winners of the Sprint Car portion of the "Lou Blaney Memorial" as they've now won 5 of the 18 events. Dale's 25th career Sharon win came aboard his brother Dave's, Ryan Blaney Family Foundation/Ten Runner Bourbon Whiskey/Liberty Steel Industries-sponsored #10. Flick earned a season best $4,100 payday for his runner-up finish just one night after trashing his #2 Sprint Car in a wild flip at Lernerville Speedway. In Flick's prior nine races at Sharon since his last win on May 10, 2025, his best finish was a sixth and had failed to qualify for the two of the features. In fact, last year's win and Flick's runner-up on Saturday night are his only top 5 finishes in the last 17 events at Sharon dating back to the 2023 season. "I can tell you right now this is a win," revealed the 33-year-old Apollo, Pa. driver. "I'm not getting a trophy or a big check, but I think I won the 'Lou Blaney Memorial'. I know how bad my dad wants this win. He raced with Lou; Lou was one of his idols and this race means a lot to me. These guys are no joke here. To even see the tail tank of the 10-car means a lot. We've been struggling and if this track doesn't have bite, I'm out to lunch. I guess that's why you keep racing because if you work hard enough at it, you'll luck into something. Congrats to Dale, Dave, and the entire Blaney Family- I know winning this race is awesome for those guys. The whole Ryan Blaney Family Foundation and all the money they raise; my grandfather on my mother's side passed away from Alzheimer's as well so this is a very special race for me." The last two laps were beneficial for Peterson, who got by the slowing Lucius on lap 34 for fourth then snuck past Sabo for third on the last lap to earn $2,600. After starting on the pole, Sabo slipped back to fourth at the finish for $1,900 in just his second night behind the wheel of the Rudzik Racing #49x from nearby Struthers, Ohio. Bowser was fifth for $1,600. Cale Thomas was sixth. Local John Jerich had a solid run going 11th to 7th. Brandon Spithaler was eighth. Greg Wilson went 15th to 9th. Chris Verda was 10th. Jeremy Weaver, who started 19th, came home 11th and earned the hard charger honors. Weaver received $100 cash from Premier Pallet & Recycling along with a $100 Summit Racing Equipment gift card. Dan Kuriger was 13th and received a $300 bonus from Premier Pallet on top of his $1,250 earnings. Thanks to Pete Grove of Premier Pallet & Recycling for adding $1,300 into Saturday's Sprint Car event as drivers finishing 2-9 also received $100. Blaney set fast time over the 35-car field in qualifying with a lap of 14.001. Heat winners were Spithaler. Thomas, Peterson, and Flick. Leyton Wagner won the last chance B main. The Hovis Auto & Truck Supply Big-Block Modifieds followed up the Sprint Car thriller and put on a tremendous 35-lap BRP Tour feature of their own. Fifth starting Erick Rudolph emerged victorious in a race that had four different leaders and four official lead changes. Rudolph passed Jeremiah Shingledecker on lap 25 and went on for his leading fourth "Lou Blaney Memorial" victory worth $2,500, which have all come in the past seven years. "This race has always been good to me," acknowledged the 34-year-old Ransomville, NY standout. "I was biding my time for a while. I kind of took it easy and hoped the track would come to me; about halfway through it really started to kick on and the car came alive for me. It seemed like the bottom and middle was the place to be tonight. I have to thank my family for putting up with me being gone and going up and down the roads, but bringing home a win makes it worthwhile. I have a lot of support behind me and grateful I have all the help I need to keep going. It gets tougher and tougher every year, but we'll keep trying to do it." Shawn Kozar led the first feature laps of his career before Shingledecker took charge on lap three. Shingledecker had his hands full as a hungry pack of racers including Rudolph, Tyler Williard, and Will Thomas III were right there. Thomas started 12th and had the highline working as he raced around Rudolph for third on lap 10 and Willard for second on lap 12. One-lap later, Thomas powered past Shingledecker for the lead on lap 13. Thomas maintained P1 until lap 21 when it was three-wide for lead as Shingledecker regained the top spot with Rudolph also getting by Thomas for second. Rudolph hounded the 2017 "Lou Blaney Memorial" winner over the ensuing laps before making the winning pass on the 25th circuit. Rudolph led the rest of the way to become the season's third different winner in as many Big-Block Modified races with the eighth victory of his career at Sharon aboard the Motech Ent Inc-owned, Stirling Lubricants/Mohawk Northeast/Highmark of Western New York/Dig Race Products-sponsored #25. Rudolph has now ironically won the "Lou Blaney Memorial" in 2020, 2022, 2024, and now 2026 and becomes the event's top winner amongst both divisions. Shingledecker, who ended an eight-year winless drought at Sharon by winning the last Big-Block Modified show on June 27, came up 1.627 seconds behind Rudolph. Willard, the Canadian, was third in search of his first career Sharon win. Rex King, Jr., who was the last local to win the "Lou Blaney Memorial" in 2019 was fourth after starting eighth. After going 12th to 1st in the first 13 laps, Thomas faded to fifth at the finish. Garrett Krummert, who started 11th, was the last car of the top six breakaway from the pack over the second-half of the event and finished sixth. Last year's event winner, Dalton Slack, who won Friday night's BRP Tour show at Lernerville, went 21st to 7th. Karston King was eighth in his Sharon Big-Block Modified debut. Ayden Cipriano went 20th to 9th. Chas Wolbert came back from a spin on lap two to complete the top 10. Only two cautions slowed the event, which took place on laps two and three, and were in fact the only cautions during the 70 laps of feature racing between the Sprint Cars and Modifieds! Like the Sprint Cars, there were also 35 Big-Block Modifieds in competition. Winning their heat races were Rudolph, Krummert, Shingledecker, and Thomas, while Slack won the last chance B main. There will be no racing next Saturday (August 8); however, a special midweek show will be held Wednesday, August 13 featuring the Super DIRTcar Series for the Big-Block Modifieds along with the Hovis Auto & Truck Supply "410" Sprint Cars for $4,000 to-win.   ATTICA, Ohio - Cap Henry held off a last lap challenge from Trey Jacobs to score his fifth win of the year At Attica Raceway Park, Friday, July 31 on Edward Jones -Mike Neill Advisor/Cam Tech Industrial Services/Impact Credit Union Night. It looked like Kalib Henry was headed for the win in the Callie's Performance Products 410 Sprint A-main but he jumped the cushion in turn one with just 10 laps to go, handing the lead to Cap Henry. Henry, the four time and defending champion at Attica, had to fend off a challenge from DJ Foos first, then on the white flag lap Jacobs hit his marks perfectly on the bottom and pulled alongside Henry who hung on for his 33rd career Attica win over Jacobs, Foos, Zeth Sabo and TJ Michael. Henry padded his lead in the All Pro Aluminum Cylinder Heads/Kistler Racing Products Attica Fremont Championship Series Presented by the Baumann Auto Group as he looks to score his fifth series title.   Cap Henry continued his winning ways at Attica Raceway Park on Friday winning the feature event with Attica Fremont Challenge Series.

  FREMONT, Ohio - Chris Andrews and Gauge Garcia traded sliders the final two laps and got together coming for the checkers at Fremont Speedway Fueled by the FriendShip Kitchen Saturday, July 25 with Garcia flipping off turn four and Andrews going on to score the 410 sprint feature win on Crown Battery Night. For Andrews it was nearly the exact opposite of the previous night at Attica Raceway Park where he and Bryce Lucius traded sliders late in the race, getting together with Lucius going on to the win. Garcia, from Lemoore, California, led the first 29 of the 30 lap Fort Ball Pizza Palace 410 Sprint A-main before the exciting last lap. Darin Naida, Cap Henry, Trey Jacobs and Kalib Henry rounded out the top five. It was Andrews' 12th career win at Fremont Speedway. "That was kind of the opposite of my driving style lately. I finally got this thing to go the way I wanted it to. Last night was a bummer…last night hurt pretty bad. I thought we had that one wrapped up. We are finally getting this car good and the Kistler motor is ripping, the shocks are good, my entire crew is working hard…it's just good," said Andrews beside his Ohio Truck Sales, Fleet Financial, Real American Beer, Whiteford Kenworth, Erie Waste, Cintas, Fremont NAPA, Toledo Spring, TruckParts4U.com backed #15C. Andrews went from fourth to second after a caution with just five laps to go. "I was screwing around on the bottom and I was like 'screw it, we're going to pull back and send it' and we sent it. I'm glad I did it at the end. There was no way I could run 30 laps like that. Gauge put on a hell of a race. If he keeps driving like that he's going to win a lot of races," added Andrews. Paul Weaver led the first four laps of the Fremont Federal Credit Union 305 feature before fifth place starter Bryan Sebetto took over. Sebetto built a nearly 3.5 second lead before a caution on lap 14. But he pulled away on the restart while the action behind him involving Weaver, Jimmy McGrath, Brenden Torok and Jamie Miller was hot and heavy. The last five laps Sebetto struggled to find his footing and Weaver closed, but was unable to get closer than a couple of car lengths at the checkers. Sebetto's fifth win of the year at Fremont came over Weaver, Miller, Torok and Dustin Dinan. It was a sweep of the Real Geese Decoys/Real Capz Attica Fremont Championship Series events for the weekend as Sebetto scored the win Friday at Attica. He now has eight total wins in 2026. It was his 33rd career win at Fremont placing him 16th on the track's all-time win list. "I was getting pretty bad there toward the end of the race especially in three and four. I had to have the wing back so far to get off of two that it made me really tight on entry to three and I couldn't quite figure out how to enter one.   Lucius wins 410 thriller at Attica; Shiels holds off Moore for late model win; Sebetto charges to 3rd 305 victory

  ATTICA, Ohio - Bryce Lucius and Chris Andrews had the big crowd on their feet at Attica Raceway Park Friday, July 24 for Fan Appreciation Night presented by Ohio Truck Sales, the Adkins Group and Wylie and Son Quarry. The pair traded sliders and banged wheels the final four laps and then Lucius had to hold off a last lap effort from Kalib Henry before securing the win, his second straight following his Brad Doty Classic victory the previous week. It was Lucius' fifth career win at Attica with Henry settling for second, Andrews, Zeth Sabo and Cap Henry (from 15th) rounding out the top five. Lucius led laps 1-25 with Andrews leading laps 26 and 27 and Lucius leading the final three circuits. "We tapped a little bit but I didn't think it was that bad. I don't have a mirror…we're going for the win and we're going to race out guts out. It's pretty cool to go back to back with everybody that's new on the race car. Weaver stayed close until lap 19 when a lapped car spun and collected Weaver sending him flipping and ending his night. Sebetto drove away for his third win of the year at Attica and his seventh overall victory of 2026 (4 at Fremont Speedway). It is his 20th career 305 victory at the track, placing him seventh on the all-time win list for the division.   Bryce Lucius stuns sprint car world...wins Brad Doty Classic at Attica

  ATTICA, Ohio - Bryce Lucius - just 19 years old - shocked the sprint car world Tuesday at the 38th Annual Ohio Logistics Brad Doty Classic Presented by dac Vitamins and Minerals, earning his first ever World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series win at Attica Raceway Park. The 2023 national 410 rookie of the year - in just his third night out in the family owned #32 after parting ways with another team in May - took advantage when leader Kyle Larson, a three time Doty Classic winner - jumped the cushion in turns three and four and flipped. Lucius led the final eight laps and had to deal with lapped traffic in the last corner, to score his fourth career Attica win over Logan Schuchart, Buddy Kofoid, Tanner Thorson and David Gravel in front of a standing room only crowd. "I can't even explain how this feels. Hats off to my dad, Landon, Wayne, Roman, my mom and everyone who helps out on this thing. Kyle basically just out drove me. He was going to win that until he hit that rut. This is our third night back together…I'm speechless. For Schuchart it was another podium finish at Attica after starting on the pole. "We had a couple of chances but we were kind of just too tight the entire race. We made some changes and just went the wrong way and I'll take the blame for that. Super tight in the beginning and as the fuel burned off it got a little better and I could hang with Kyle and Bryce in the middle of the race. I couldn't rotate the corner and keep the left rear down and getting on the gas and picking the front end up. I had to be conservative and stay out of the gas exiting the corners and it hurt me. Bryce did an awesome job. The next three laps saw a tremendous battle between Macedo and Lucius, who took the lead, bringing Larson to second. Larson got sideways exiting turn two on lap 18 and Macedo had nowhere to go and took a tumble. On the restart Lucius led Larson, Schuchart, Kofoid and Gravel. Just past half way, Larson and Lucius traded sliders for the lead with Larson taking the top spot on lap 23. With just eight laps to go Larson caught the cushion hard in turns three and four and got upside down. Lucius took off on the ensuing restart but caught the back of the field on the final lap allowing Schuchart to close but it was too little too late as Lucius scored what some consider the biggest upset in World of Outlaws history. Sebetto, a former 410 Fremont track champion, led all 30 non-stop laps of the Fremont Federal Credit Union 305 A-main to claim the richest payday of the division's history - $5,000. It was his fourth straight win at Fremont and his sixth overall victory of 2026 and a weekend sweep as he scored the win at Attica Raceway Park the night before. Sebetto lapped up to ninth place and won by nearly eight seconds over Seth Schneider, 10th starter John Ivy, Jimmy McGrath and Jamie Miller.   ATTICA, Ohio - Because of his dominance in 2025 Attica Raceway Park put in a new feature line-up wrinkle in 2026 to force Cap Henry to pass more cars to win. The result? Same dominance for Cap Henry. The four time and defending Callie's Performance Products 410 Sprints Attica track champion had to start eighth in the 30 laps feature on Friday, June 26 due to the Attica Challenge procedure. Henry moved into third by lap five, took second on lap 11 and took the lead on lap 22 and drove to his fourth win of the year at Attica on Columbus Equipment/Smith Family Foods/Bucyrus Road Materials/Norwalk Concrete Industries Night, earning $5,000 for the win and another $1,000 for the challenge bonus. It wasn't easy for the four time and defending champion of the Kistler Racing Products/All Pro Aluminum Cylinder Heads Attica Fremont Championship Series (AFCS) Presented by the Baumann Auto Group. Larry Kingseed lead the first 21 laps and he and Henry banged wheels entering turn one while battling for the lead while trying to navigate around a lapped car. Henry's sixth overall win of 2026 came over Kingseed, who scored his career best finish in 410 competition, Jordan Ryan, TJ Michael and Darin Naida. Henry's 32nd career 410 sprint win at Attica puts him back into the lead of the AFCS points. "That was a tough race track to start eighth and get to the lead.   WAYNESFIELD, Ohio - Chris Andrews was determined not to let a feature win slip through his grasp Thursday, June 18 at Waynesfield Raceway Park. The Sandusky, Ohio driver got up on the wheel the last three laps and blasted around Bryce Lucius in the last corner of the last lap to score the NAPA Auto Parts All Star Circuit of Champions presented by Valvoline Oil win during the 44th Annual Overwatch Precision Ohio Sprint Speedweek Presented by Kistler Engines and Kistler Racing Products.   Mintz earns 3rd All Star win to open Ohio Speedweek at Attica; Shiels gets 2nd late model victory

  ATTICA, Ohio - Craig Mintz doesn't race as much as he used to but when he does, the Gibsonburg, Ohio driver is a force to be reckoned with and he proved it Friday, June 12 to kick off the 44th Annual Overwatch Precision Ohio Sprint Speedway Presented by Kistler Racing Products at Attica Raceway Park. Mintz, a two time Attica 410 sprint track champion, drove under Parker Price Miller on lap 15 and navigated through heavy traffic for his third career NAPA Auto Parts All Star Circuit of Champions Presented by Valvoline Oil victory and his 18th career win at Attica. It's Mintz' first series win since 2023. Cap Henry, a three time winner at Attica in 2026, jumped into the early lead over Australian driver Ryan Newton, Zeth Sabo, Price Miller and Kalib Henry. When the leaders encountered heavy lapped traffic by lap 11, Newton closed on Henry just prior to a caution flying on lap 14. On the ensuing restart, Henry and Newton exchanged sliders in turns one and two and again in turns three and four, but while exiting turn four Henry's slider collected Newton and both spun with Newton's car damaged and Henry went to the work area. Price Miller inherited the lead, but on the next lap Mintz, who started seventh, drove under the Kokomo, Indiana driver's machine and into the lead. Mintz drove away for the victory over Price Miller, Sabo, who had to battle the last half of the race with Gauge Garcia, who came home fourth and 21st starter Danny Dietrich rounding out the top five. "The last 10 laps I was bleeding…I couldn't get around the lapped cars and they were taking the air off the nose and I couldn't roll the middle. Luckily when I showed my nose to those guys…minus one of them…they didn't race me back. My guys still believe in me. I'm getting older and not racing as much," said Mintz beside his Real Geese Decoys, Gill Construction, Grant Decker Construction, Bettsville American Legion, KS Sales and Service, Linder's Speed Equipment backed #09. For Price Miller the night showed improvements for the Indy Race team after struggling at Attica last month. "Craig was really good. We came here about a month ago and we were way to aggressive and way too tight. We were a bit timid on what to do to the car and we were a bit free," said Price Miller of his Indy Race Parts, Wood Racing Engines, Chalk Stix backed #71. After dropping back a little early, Zeth Sabo powered back and regained third on the white flag lap and finished on the podium. "I was screwing up entering turn one. I just needed to be up on it and in it and I wasn't doing it. The past couple of weeks my guys have busted their butts and turned this thing around and I can't thank Rich and Shelly Farmer and all my guys enough for what they do for me," said Sabo beside his Berryman Racing Shocks, Level Utilities, Limo Scene Limo Services, Kiser Sound, Valvoline, Ash Automotive, Gates Belts and Hoses, Adaptive OWE, BSE Fabrication, Hollywood Casino backed #29. Todd Brennan led the first 16 laps of the UMP late model feature before five time track champion Devin Shiels was able to get his nose under for the lead. "We were door to door and the tires were sneaking up on me.   ATTICA, Ohio - Even the Attica Challenge couldn't prevent Cap Henry from winning at Attica Raceway Park's Mid-Season Championship Night, Friday, June 5. The new challenge puts the previous week's winner starting in the last redraw position if they transfer to the A-main. Thus Henry, the track's defending track champion, had to start eighth in the 30-lap feature.   Kalib Henry storms to Fremont win; Sebetto completes 305 weekend sweep; Valenti wins wild truck feature

  FREMONT, Ohio - Since winning the Fremont Speedway presented by FriendShip Kitchen championship in 2024, California native Kalib Henry calls "The Track That Action Built" home and his favorite Ohio track. He proved it Saturday, May 30, dominating the last half of the feature event to score his eighth career 410 sprint car win on Pub 400/Autokiniton Night. Henry, the 2025 All Star Circuit of Champion titlist, started eighth in the 30-lap feature and took the lead from Zeth Sabo, who led the first 15 laps, on lap 16 and only a couple of cautions, was not deterred in his quest for the win. Sabo finished second with 13th starter Nate Dussel, Trey Jacobs and Craig Mintz rounding out the top five. "Andy (Potter, crew chief) made my job easy. That thing was an absolute beaut to drive. It would go anywhere I wanted. Made a couple of little changes racing with the shock and got the wing back. Thanks to Doc and all the sponsors. Sebetto, who won Friday at Attica Raceway Park, not has two wins at Fremont in 2026 and padded his lead in the Real Geese Decoys/Real Capz Attica Fremont Championship Series standings. Seth Schneider had a shot at Sebetto after a caution set up a green, white, checkered finish, but Sebetto hit his marks perfectly for the win over Schneider, Jamie Miller, Weaver and Steve Rando. Only a hand full of cautions slowed Henry during the 30-lap Callie's Performance Products 410 Sprint A-main as he took the checkers with an over six second lead.   Cap Henry dominated the 410 sprint feature Friday, May 29 at Attica Raceway Park for the Eric Phillips 37th Anniversary Classic. The four time and defending track champion took the lead on lap two and never looked back to score his 30th career division win on Croghan Colonial Bank/Ferguson Waterworks/Morgan Stanley/Rath Builders Supply/Heitsch North Shore Stone Quarry Night.

  Reutzel comes alive late in Attica Race to collect $20,000 plus bonus for $50k in three days

  ATTICA, OHIO - Aaron Reutzel grabbed another gear the last 10 laps at Attica Raceway Park Thursday, May 14. The Clute, Texas driver took the lead with just five laps to go and drove to the $20,000 prize on the John Bores 20th Anniversary Celebration, his second such payday in three days. He also earned a $10,000 bonus for winning Tuesday at Fremont Speedway and Attica's special race for a $50,000 paycheck! Teenager Aiden Price lead the first 19 laps of the 40-lap race on Baumann Auto Group/Kistler Engines/Burns Electric Night before Justin Peck used lapped traffic to take the point on laps 20 and 21. Price regained the top spot on lap 22 and 23 only to see 11th starter Tanner Thorson slip by on lap 24. Price drove back to the lead on lap 25 with Thorson regaining the lead on lap 26. A caution on lap 29 set up a wild final 10 laps. Reutzel, who started fifth and hung around there until that caution, put the whip to the Ridge and Sons Racing #87 and drove into second on the restart and immediately jumped to the high side of the track and put pressure on Thorson. The duo traded the lead back and forth every lap at every corner. Reutzel, the current Interstate Batteries High Limit point leader, used traffic, which was utilizing the bottom groove in front or Thorson and shot around him for the lead with just four laps to go and drove to his third career Attica win. Thorson, 15th starter Logan Schuchart, 13th starter Tyler Courtney and Price rounded out the top five. "That's absolutely incredible. Races we had no intentions of going to and saw what they were paying and might as well. I was hoping to win one…didn't think we would win both. I was so tight early and I was racing like I was racing for points or something. Trying not to get crashed and this and that and I was back to eighth and I was like 'what are you doing…it's $30,000 to win you're not racing for points and I just started sending it as hard as I could. I'm wore out..I was driving like I was 18 again. It was a blast…a lot of fun. This track was awesome," said Reutzel beside his Ridge and Sons Racing, Folkens Bros Trucking, Power Plus, Rasmusson Service Center backed machine.   Reutzel comes alive late in Attica Race to collect $20,000 plus bonus for $50k in three days

  Aaron Reutzel grabbed another gear the last 10 laps at Attica Raceway Park Thursday, May 14. The Clute, Texas driver took the lead with just five laps to go and drove to the $20,000 prize on the John Bores 20th Anniversary Celebration, his second such payday in three days. He also earned a $10,000 bonus for winning Tuesday at Fremont Speedway and Attica's special race for a $50,000 paycheck!
