Eldora Speedway Dirt Track News
- Precipitation and poor forecast forces Senoia Raceway cancelation; All Stars to begin Southern Swing Tuesday, Feb. 7 at Volusia Speedway Park
BROWNSBURG, Ind. (January 30, 2023) - With heavy precipitation already saturating Senoia Raceway, and an extended forecast predicating periods of off and on rain throughout the next five days, Tezos All Star Circuit of Champions presented by Mobil 1 and Senoia Raceway officials were left with no choice but to cancel the weekend's two-day All Star Southern Swing opener scheduled for Friday and Saturday, February 3-4. The event will not be made up. "We appreciate Senoia Raceway's attempt in completing this weekend's event, but with weather an obvious factor, canceling early is the right decision," stated Jared Frood on behalf of the All Stars. "Ample drying time was going to be a factor and the track was quick to relay that to us. An early cancelation will save teams from travel expenses and we can begin to look ahead to Volusia." The All Star Circuit of Champions will now turn their attention ahead to DIRTcar Nationals competition at Volusia Speedway Park in DeLeon Springs, Florida, on Tuesday and Wednesday, February 7-8. The Classic Ink USA Southern Swing presented by Elliott's Custom Trailers and Carts will then continue at East Bay Raceway Park in Tampa, Florida, on Monday and Tuesday, February 13-14. Although losing last year's Volusia doubleheader due to Mother Nature, the All Star visit to East Bay produced two different winners with eventual Series champion, Tyler Courtney, scoring the victory on night one. Visalia, California's Cory Eliason was the victor the following evening with Dylan Westbrook and Tyler Courtney in tow. Despite not awarding points toward the overall All Star championship chase, all four of the upcoming programs at Volusia Speedway Park and East Bay Raceway Park will award $6,000 paydays. Tafoya wants to build on the success of the 2022 season and feels the best way to do that is by expanding his participation in the USAC National Series. "We had a great year last year," the handsome driver said on Thursday afternoon. "Third was good and our best finish was second. I really, really, really want to win. We were close, but we didn't have the right package on the right nights. I do not want to plateau yet. I feel like I still have a lot to learn and I want to learn it quickly. I think going and running with the national guys, by the time I come back here it will put me in a lot better position. I just really want to win races. Really want to learn and to get faster. I want to up my experience in a quicker amount of time." The 23 national series races currently on his schedule will be at 13 different tracks. Tafoya, 25, will be making his debut at seven of them. They are Florida's Volusia Speedway Park, and Bubba Raceway Park. He will be racing in Texas for the first time at Rocket Raceway Park, and the Devil's Bowl Speedway. He will also make first appearances at Ohio's Eldora Speedway, Iowa's Knoxville Raceway, which is known as the "Sprint Car Capital of the World," and the Circle City Raceway in Indiana. The appearances at Devil's Bowl, Eldora, and Knoxville are especially inviting as they are among the most famous dirt tracks in the world. In 2022, Tafoya only ventured to the Midwest one time. That was for the three-night USAC National race at Huset's Speedway in South Dakota in July. After placing 10th and 13th on the first two nights, the fit driver started the finale by scoring a comfortable win in his qualifier. After starting third in the main, he ran in the top three for the first 17 laps. That included running second for several laps much to the delight of the crowd at the track and thousands watching around the world on Flo Racing. While in third on lap 18, he slapped the wall coming off turn four sending his car bicycling onto the left side wheels and then back into the wall when it came back down on all fours. The young charger stayed on the throttle despite a bad vibration in the car. He remained on the track for the duration and placed 15th with what turned out to be a badly bent wheel. "We ran in third until I think halfway to go when I got into the wall," Tafoya stated when asked if his run at Huset's weighed on his decision to expand his National schedule. "Out here (on the West Coast) I really don't know what it is. On our good nights, we are all right. On our bad nights, we just could not figure it out. All of my crew said if we could run like we did at Huset's we would be doing great out here. I need to go back there. I feel I just need to do some homework and be able to be in that zone for a consistent amount of time and not just hit and miss." Racing in the National Series means Tafoya will be spending some time on the seven tracks he has never raced on. He is looking forward to new adventures and challenges. While he has never set a tire to those tracks, he has battled on many of them on the simulator. "I really like the big race tracks as I seem to do a lot better when I go a lot faster for whatever reason that is," the second-generation sprint car driver laughed. "I know that just watching Bubba (Bubba Raceway Park) in Florida that it is quick. I know Devil's Bowl is supposed to be fast. Eldora is obviously huge and so is Knoxville. I run all of those on the simulator. I think it will be really cool to get back to those tracks and see what we can do against those guys." "I wouldn't say it helps much when it comes to set up stuff," he said, referring to racing on a simulator. "But it helps for sure with visual and reaction stuff. Like when stuff starts going wrong. Training your brain on how to react to certain situations and stuff like that, I think it is really helpful." The only uncertainty in heading back to the Midwest seems to be crew related. Well supported by family and friends when he is racing in the west, that may be a bit harder when he is competing thousands of miles away. "That is definitely one of the big issues," the driver intoned when queried on who would be helping when he is not in California. "We have a couple of buddies who live back there who we are fortunate that they let us use their properties and stuff. The Wingo brothers run a sprint car back there and I think they are going to come help us whenever they can. Hopefully, we can fly in Kenny (Perkins), Malyssa (Perkins), my cousins, and whoever else can lend a hand when we need it." While his focus for 2023 will be in the USAC National series, West Coast fans need not fret as they will still get to see Tafoya in action when he is not away racing in the Midwest. He will be in and out for events early in the season and with his current USAC National schedule slated to end in August, he should get in several races in September, October, and November. "I know that after we go to Florida, we are bringing our stuff home," Tafoya said. "So in between the end of February and mid-April, we will be home. We will see if there are some races in there. We have not decided if we are leaving our stuff there between Eldora to Knoxville or if we are coming back. Basically, whenever my stuff is home, we will try to hit Perris and some other closer stuff. And if somebody needs a driver here (when he is not in the Midwest), I would be more than happy to drive." - Lucas Oil Speedway selected for one of six 2023 SRX Thursday night events on ESPN
WHEATLAND, MO. (Dec. 21, 2022) - Some of the world's best-known drivers are coming to Lucas Oil Speedway for the first time in 2023 as part of the popular Superstar Racing Experience (SRX) six-race series. The finale of the six events will be held at Lucas Oil Speedway on Thursday, Aug. 17 with the telecast set to begin at 8 p.m. CDT on ESPN and the ESPN App. "The six tracks we selected came from a list of 42 fantastic venues, all who had real interest in hosting an SRX race this summer," said Don Hawk, SRX Chief Executive Officer. "When selecting the schedule, we prioritized historic tracks that have had success hosting big-time events. "We are really excited with the six tracks that have been selected - the venues will be packed and bring incredible energy and local racing passion that will come out on ESPN for Thursday Night Thunder. This summer will be short-track racing at its very best. SRX at 6 historic short tracks all over the US - we can't wait and are so excited for the fans to experience it on ESPN in prime time." Hawk said that Lucas Oil Speedway as "an easy selection" for inclusion on the 2023 schedule. "Tony Stewart had a big hand in helping with the selections of iconic race tracks and when you hear the name Lucas Oil, and Lucas Oil Speedway, you just go 'wow, I want to go there,' " Hawk added. "They were literally on our radar from day one, when when requests starting coming in. They get it, they understand it and they understand the big picture and we can't wait to go there." The SRX schedule (all events at 9 p.m. EDT on ESPN): July 13 - Stafford Motor Speedway (Stafford Springs, Conn.) July 20 - Thunder Road Speedbowl (Barre, Vermont) July 27 - Motor Mile Speedway (Radford, Va.) Aug. 3 - Berlin Raceway (Grand Rapids, Mich.) The final two races are back-to-back dirt-track events with the SRX champion determined as the checkered flag flies at Lucas Oil Speedway. "We can't wait for racing fans across the world to see Lucas Oil Speedway on ESPN and I know our fans will turn out in force for this one-of-a-kind event with some of the legends of racing in action." Hawk gave a further breakdown of the schedule, starting with the opener at Stafford which is near the ESPN campus in Bristol, Conn. "It was important to us to kick-off this summer at Stafford Motor Speedway, in Bristol's backyard," Hawk said. "Stafford and the Arute family have done a first-class job, and the proximity to ESPN made the home-game concept very exciting. SRX's first visit to Thunder Road (VT) will be awesome - the fans there are spectacular, and we're excited for race rans around the country to see how awesome that place is. "We are equally excited to visit Motor Mile and Berlin Race - these are two tracks that have been on our radar since day one. Finally, finishing the season with back-to-back dirt races will test the driver's adaptability. Eldora is a world-class facility, and with Tony [Stewart], we know we are getting the very best. And hosting our championship at Lucas Oil Speedway in Missouri will be the perfect finale to a diverse and exciting 2023 summer schedule." According to a Sports Business Journal story, SRX last year averaged just over 1 million viewers on CBS, and it was able to break even financially after selling out five of the six races it held. In that story, Hawk said he's received an uptick in interest from drivers in NASCAR and IndyCar who are interested in competing because the series has switched from Saturdays to Thursdays. Hawk said that about half the driver roster already is filled, but announcement of the entire roster likely will come later in January or February. - Eldora to Host Richest Sprint Car Race in Motorsports History With $1 Million-To-Win 'Eldora Million' on July 13, 2023 - Live Flag-to-Flag Coverage Provided Exclusively by FloSports
ROSSBURG, Ohio (December 14, 2022) - Eldora Speedway owner Tony Stewart announced today that winged sprint cars will race for the richest purse in sprint car history as his legendary, half-mile dirt oval will host its third version of the Eldora Million July 12-13. The unsanctioned event, which features a winner's purse of $1,002,023 from a total purse of $1.4 million, is a cooperative effort with the speedway's official livestream partner, FloSports, a leader in sports streaming and original content, which will provide exclusive live streaming of the event. "All of us at Eldora are super excited to host the first million-dollar-to-win sprint car race," said Stewart. "Back in 2003, Eldora hosted a non-wing race that paid $200,000 to winner Jac Haudenschild, but this will be the first time a sprint car driver will race for a winner's check worth $1 million. "This will showcase the best of the best, and you're going to want to see how this race unfolds where in the final laps, with guys still in the hunt running close together, what they will do to win a million dollars." Eldora Speedway is known for its mammoth payouts for its mega events. While it's the first sprint car race to pay to seven figures, it will become the 17th sprint car race at Eldora to pay at least six figures (12 Historical Big Ones, 3 King Royals, 1 Mopar Million). It will be the 48th overall race at Eldora to pay at least six figures when including late model events. Combined with the $175,000-to-win 40th Kings Royal that takes place July 14-15 following The Eldora Million, overall posted prize money for the four-day stretch will exceed a staggering $2 million. "I think it's been long overdue," Stewart added. "We've had two, $1 million-to-win dirt late model races at Eldora, but to finally do it for the sprint car community is something that makes all of us at Eldora really proud," Stewart said. "Sprint car drivers put on some of the best shows in all of racing and this is our way of saying thank you." "From the beginning of our partnership, Tony and FloSports have shared a passion for grassroots motorsports," said Mark Floreani, FloSports founder and CEO. "With a shared goal of growing the sport via world class and game-changing events, The Eldora Million for winged sprint cars is yet another example of pushing the sport toward new heights. We're thrilled to be a part of history." In a format that is unique to sprint car events, The Eldora Million will feature a full racing program that culminates with the $1,002,023-to-win feature. Competitors will earn points in Wednesday's preliminary action that will help seed Thursday night's events. Wednesday's program doubles down on racing action with competitors split into groups. Each group will compete in a full racing program highlighted by $12,000-to-win and $1,000-to-start main events. In total, Wednesday's purse exceeds $115,000. "This format will offer an exciting, unique program of racing on Wednesday and Thursday for fans and competitors, said Jerry Gappens, general manager of Eldora. "Wednesday's program is a 'big bang for the buck' for the fans with all the racing plus twin 25-lap features. For competitors, it basically compresses two nights of preliminary action into one night and guarantees 48 different cars will race in a feature. We will detail more information on the complete two-night format when the official entry form is released in the spring. Fans will be able to look forward to various entertainment elements and that information will be forthcoming as well." Ticket and camping renewals for all of Eldora's traditional marquee events will begin showing up in patron accounts next week and run through January 31, 2023. Due to the unique nature of the Eldora Million, patrons who had tickets for the 2022 Kings Royal Saturday night race will have the first opportunity to purchase those same seats for Wednesday, July 12 (The Eldora Million prelim) and Thursday, July 13 (The Eldora Million) as part of the event renewal process. Public sale for tickets and campsites for all 2023 Major Events (The Dirt Late Model Dream, Eldora Million, Kings Royal, World 100) will begin February 13, 2023 at 10 a.m. For the recently announced 43rd running of the Dirt Track World Championship, Oct. 19-21, last year's DTWC ticketholders will have first opportunity to purchase tickets beginning February 20. About Eldora Speedway: In 1954, renowned bandleader and proprietor of the Eldora Ballroom, Earl Baltes, carved a flat quarter-mile clay oval out of the cornfield that laid in the natural amphitheater between Ohio S.R. 118 and the Wabash River. Over the next 50 years, the enterprising Baltes, and wife Berneice, grew Eldora Speedway from its humble roots to national prominence by promoting events no other promoter dared fathom on the half-mile high-banked clay oval. As dirt racing's popularity surged in the late 1990s, along came new multi-million-dollar facilities, and corporate entities began to pepper Baltes about purchasing Eldora. However, in Baltes' mind, there was only one choice - and in true Earl Baltes fashion - in the spring of 2004, he contacted a brash young racer who had tamed Eldora's high-banks as a driver on his way to national championships in USAC and IndyCar, the 2002 NASCAR Cup Series champion, Tony Stewart. As Stewart's on-track career skyrocketed, he passionately reinvested into entrepreneurial endeavors involving his beloved dirt racing, beginning with race teams in 2001. Somehow, the two high-profile figures who always drew a crowd of well-wishers at Eldora, managed to keep their talks quiet and the celebrated-promotor and superstar driver announced the transition of ownership in November 2004. Now entering its 19th year under the ownership of Tony Stewart, Eldora Speedway will play host to its 70th season of racing in 2023. The full event calendar, including ticket and campsite information, will be posted when available at www.EldoraSpeedway.com. "We look forward to crowning our 18th National Champion, Tim McCreadie, on Friday night. As we look ahead to our 19th season, we're ready for an action-packed season that will culminate in our first ever visit to the historic Eldora Speedway. Only twice in our Series history has the championship been contested at the season finale. The Dirt Track World Championship is an event that is worthy of crowning a Champion. Not only will the crown jewel pay $100,000 to win, but now, the race inside the race is worthy of the persona that is the Dirt Track World Championship. For us to be proud of this program, there were two key factors. First, the event needed to be contested at the speedway that dirt late model racing calls home, Eldora. Second, the four finalists contending for a national title needed to be well compensated for their efforts all season. The unwavering dedication of Lucas Oil, our exclusive broadcast partner FloRacing, and our great marketing partners allow us to strive as the elite dirt late model tour." "We are passionately committed to our involvement in motorsports and the continued growth of the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series. We are incredibly excited about the new million-dollar point fund and elimination-style championship format for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series - it elevates the drama, the action, the stories, and the passion that fans like us have for these drivers and teams," said Morgan Lucas, president of Lucas Oil. "Motorsports, and the Late Models series specifically, is in our DNA. Ratcheting up the fan experience and excitement for the sport while celebrating and supporting these tremendous athletes is a win-win. I can't wait to see how this season shakes out." The Big River Steel Chase for the Championship presented by ARP kicks off at Golden Isles Speedway with the Super Bowl of Racing on January 25-28. From there, the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series is back at Bubba Raceway Park for two nights on January 29-30 before heading to All-Tech Raceway, February 2-4. BROWNSBURG, Ind. (December 1, 2022) - With much anticipation, the Tezos All Star Circuit of Champions presented by Mobil 1 is pleased to unveil a 50-race slate for the 2023 season, all of which kicking-off in traditional fashion with their annual southern swing through Georgia and Florida on February 3-14. Diverse as well as competitive, the 2023 All Star agenda boasts a travel plan that features 33 different facilities across 11 states. In addition to the visits to Georgia and Florida, America's Series will trek through Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, Wisconsin, Iowa, Illinois, Missouri, Michigan, and New Jersey during the new year. Of the 50 events on the schedule, 21 will award $10,000-to-win or more with five writing checks for over $22,000. The season's premier programs include Portsmouth Raceway Park's annual Dean Knittel Memorial ($22,554), Lernerville Speedway's Silver Cup ($25,000-to-win), the annual Rayce Rudeen Foundation Race ($26,000) - to be held in at the Plymouth Dirt Track (WI), Port Royal Speedway's Bob Weikert Memorial ($29,000), and Port Royal Speedway's 55th annual Tuscarora 50 ($55,000). "We had objectives to accomplish while working through the scheduling process for the 2023 season", said Tony Stewart, owner of the All Stars. "We made a concerted effort to desaturate certain markets to facilitate a hopeful improvement in the demand to attend our events. Further, we continue to pursue partnerships with increased purse payouts for the race teams. Once again, we appreciate the support of the many track owners and promoters in scheduling an All Star event or events with us in 2023." In addition to the 21 events paying $10,000 or more, the 2023 schedule officially includes 15 events paying $6,000 to win, 2 events paying $7,000 to win, 11 events paying $8,000 to win and 1 event paying $8,500 to win. "We're really excited about what we were able to put together for 2023", Stewart continued. "We feel it's a great mix of our staple events, combined with some new dates for some tracks, sprinkled in with a handful of visits to tracks that have either never been on our schedule or we haven't visited in a few years. We'll be anxious and ready to head down to Georgia at the end of January." A six-race non-point stint through the Peach State and Sunshine State will commence with a visit to Senoia Raceway in Senoia, Georgia, on February 3-4, Volusia Speedway Park in DeLeon Springs, Florida, on February 7-8, and East Bay Raceway Park in Tampa, Florida, on February 13-14. After nearly a two-month break, the 2023 All Star championship points season will begin with a two-day Spring Nationals visit to Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio, on Friday and Saturday, April 7-8. If each of the Attica events should be forced to move due to weather, the two-day program will then be contested the following weekend, Friday and Saturday, April 14-15. May's agenda stands tall with an action-packed slate featuring a competitive weekend at Jacksonville Speedway in Jacksonville, Illinois, and Wilmot Raceway in Wilmot, Wisconsin, on May 12-13, followed by the season's first trip to the Empire State with visits to Outlaw Speedway, Fonda Speedway, and Weedsport Speedway on May 19-21, respectively. A journey to New Jersey and Pennsylvania on May 25-28 will help the All Stars close the month of May with consecutive stops at Bridgeport Speedway in Swedesboro, New Jersey on Thursday, Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, on Friday, and Port Royal Speedway in Port Royal, Pennsylvania, on Saturday and Sunday; the weekend will conclude with the $29,000-to-win Bob Weikert Memorial on Sunday, May 28. June will begin with a trip to Wisconsin where the Series will battle the IRA Outlaw Sprint Series during visits to Dodge County Fairgrounds Speedway in Beaver Dam (June 2) and the $26,000-to-win Rayce Rudeen Foundation Race at the Plymouth Dirt Track on the Sheboygan County Fairgrounds (June 3). The 41st edition of Ohio Sprint Speedweek is slated for June 9-17 featuring eight events in nine days concluding with the Dean Knittel Memorial at Portsmouth Raceway Park. Speedweek action will take the All Star Circuit of Champions to Attica Raceway Park on June 9, Fremont Speedway on June 10, Wayne County Speedway on June 11-12, Sharon Speedway on June 13, Atomic Speedway on June 15, Eldora Speedway on June 16, and Portsmouth on June 17. Wednesday's open date will act as a potential rain date should any event prior need to utilize it. July will be diverse for America's Series, not only featuring a two-day blast through New York and Ohio in visits to Ransomville Speedway in Ransomville, New York, and Sharon Speedway for the Lou Blaney Memorial in Hartford, Ohio, on July 7-8, but the map will also take action to Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania, where All Star competitors and Western Pennsylvania's finest will battle head-to-head for the $25,000-to-win Don Martin Memorial Silver Cup on Tuesday, July 18. July will then continue with a venture west into the Central Time Zone where teams will compete elbows up in seven events over nine days. Dubbed Thunder Through the Plains, the nine-day tour will include stops at 34 Raceway in West Burlington, Iowa, on July 21, Spoon River Speedway in Lewistown, Illinois, on July 22, Red Hill Speedway in Sumner, Illinois, on July 23, Benton Speedway in Benton, Missouri, on July 26, Lake Ozark Speedway in Eldon, Missouri, on July 27, I-70 Motorsports Park in Odessa, Missouri, on July 28, and Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa, on July 29. Giving All Star teams the opportunity to compete in Knoxville Raceway's annual 360 and 410 Nationals programs, the Series' August agenda will not commence until Friday and Saturday, August 18-19, when the Series will attempt to conquer the Empire State yet again, this time visiting Outlaw Speedway in Dundee and Utica-Rome Speedway in Vernon in consecutive fashion. Eventually trekking south of the New York border, the mid-August weekend will conclude officially with a visit to Selinsgrove Speedway in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania, on Sunday, August 20. A two-day stop in Michigan, the lone visit to the Wolverine State in 2023, will then close out the month of August with events at Tri-City Motor Speedway (August 25) and Butler Motor Speedway for the Mace Thomas Classic on August 26. Perhaps the most competitive stretch on the 2023 All Star schedule, September's slate includes not only another tangle with the notorious Pennsylvania Posse, but also competition with Ohio's ultra-competitive local contingent, blasting off with Attica Raceway Park's annual Attica Ambush on Friday and Saturday, September 1-2. Wasting little time, compasses will then turn due east, setting aim on another visit to the Port Royal Speedway where action will resume for three straight days. Featuring the highest paying program on the 2023 All Star slate, Tuscarora 50 weekend will take center stage on Thursday through Saturday, September 7-9, headlined with the $55,000-to-win Tuscarora 50 on Saturday night. The 50-lap finale is also the longest event on the 2023 All Star calendar. The All Star Circuit of Champions will then close-out the 2023 season officially with a three-event return to the Buckeye State, first headlining Fremont Speedway's Jim & Joanne Ford Classic on Friday and Saturday, September 15-16, followed by Eldora Speedway's 4-Crown Nationals on Saturday, September 23. 2023 All Star Schedule: (events in bold at minimum $10,000 to win) Friday, February 3 | Senoia Raceway | Senoia, GA Saturday, February 4 | Senoia Raceway | Senoia, GA ($10,000 to win) Tuesday, February 7 | Volusia Speedway Park | DeLeon Springs, FL Wednesday, February 8 | Volusia Speedway Park | DeLeon Springs, FL Monday, February 13 | East Bay Raceway Park | Tampa, FL Tuesday, February 14 | East Bay Raceway Park | Tampa, FL Friday, April 7 | Attica Raceway Park | Attica, OH Saturday, April 8 | Attica Raceway Park | Attica, OH Friday, May 12 | Jacksonville Speedway | Jacksonville, IL Saturday, May 13 | Wilmot Raceway | Wilmot, WI Friday, May 19 | Outlaw Speedway | Dundee, NY Saturday, May 20 | Fonda Speedway | Fonda, NY ($10,000 to win) Sunday, May 21 | Weedsport Speedway | Weedsport, NY Thursday, May 25 | Bridgeport Speedway | Swedesboro, NJ ($10,000 to win) Friday, May 26 | Williams Grove Speedway | Mechanicsburg, PA ($10,000 to win) Saturday, May 27 | Port Royal Speedway | Port Royal, PA ($10,000 to win) Sunday, May 28 | Port Royal Speedway | Port Royal, PA ($29,000 to win) Friday, June 2 | Dodge County Fairgrounds Speedway | Beaver Dam, WI Saturday, June 3 | Plymouth Dirt Track | Plymouth, WI ($26,000 to win) Friday, June 9 | Attica Raceway Park | Attica, OH Saturday, June 10 | Fremont Speedway | Fremont, OH ($10,000 to win) Sunday, June 11 | Wayne County Speedway | Orrville, OH Monday, June 12 | Wayne County Speedway | Orrville, OH ($10,000 to win) Tuesday, June 13 | Sharon Speedway | Hartford, OH Thursday, June 15 | Atomic Speedway | Chillicothe, OH Friday, June 16 | Eldora Speedway | Rossburg, OH ($12,000 to win) Saturday, June 17 | Portsmouth Raceway Park | Portsmouth, OH ($22,554 to win) Friday, July 7 | Ransomville Speedway | Ransomville, NY ($12,000 to win) Saturday, July 8 | Sharon Speedway | Hartford, OH ($10,000 to win) Tuesday, July 18 | Lernerville Speedway | Sarver, PA ($25,000 to win) Friday, July 21 | 34 Raceway | West Burlington, IA Saturday, July 22 | Spoon River Speedway | Lewistown, IL Sunday, July 23 | Red Hill Speedway | Sumner, IL Wednesday, July 26 | Benton Speedway | Benton, MO Thursday, July 27 | Lake Ozark Speedway | Eldon, MO Friday, July 28 | I-70 Motorsports Park | Odessa, MO Saturday, July 29 | Knoxville Raceway | Knoxville, IA Friday, August 18 | Outlaw Speedway | Dundee, NY Saturday, August 19 | Utica-Rome Speedway | Vernon, NY ($10,000 to win) Sunday, August 20 | Selinsgrove Speedway | Selinsgrove, PA ($10,000 to win) Friday, August 25 | Tri-City Motor Speedway | Auburn, MI Saturday, August 26 | Butler Motor Speedway | Quincy, MI Friday, September 1 | Attica Raceway Park | Attica, OH Saturday, September 2 | Attica Raceway Park | Attica, OH ($12,000 to win) Thursday, September 7 | Port Royal Speedway | Port Royal, PA Friday, September 8 | Port Royal Speedway | Port Royal, PA ($10,000 to win) Saturday, September 9 | Port Royal Speedway | Port Royal, PA ($55,000 to win) Friday, September 15 | Fremont Speedway | Fremont, OH Saturday, September 16 | Fremont Speedway | Fremont, OH ($10,000 to win) Saturday, September 23 | Eldora Speedway | Rossburg, OH ($10,000 to win) About the All Star Circuit of Champions: All Star Enterprises, LLC, wholly owned by Tony Stewart, d/b/a the All Star Circuit of Champions, is a winged sprint car series. The nation's premier tour for dirt late models will bring 56 events to 32 tracks across 16 states from January to October with over $5 million in purse money up for grabs along the way. Per usual, the 2023 campaign will launch with 13 events during Georgia-Florida Speedweeks and conclude with the 43rd Annual Dirt Track World Championship. The 2023 schedule is highlighted by a colossal 18 races that pay $25,000 or more to the winner, including the return of 11 crown jewel events that boast a $50,000 or more top prize. Like years past, Golden Isles Speedway kicks off the season with the Super Bowl of Racing on January 25-28. From there, the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series is back at Bubba Raceway Park for two nights on January 29-30 before heading to All-Tech Raceway, February 2-4. The 47th Annual Wieland Winternationals will close out Speedweeks, February 5-11, at East Bay Raceway Park. In addition to the return of several iconic venues, the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series will make its inaugural appearance for the $18,049 to win Melvin L. Joseph Memorial at Georgetown (Del.) Speedway on April 28; the $25,000 to win Farmer City 74 at Farmer City (Ill.) Raceway on May 12; and the $30,000 to win FALS Spring Shootout Presented by Titan Industries at Fairbury (Ill.) Speedway on May 13. One of the richest events on the tour, the 13th Annual Silver Dollar Nationals, will shift to Huset's Speedway in Brandon, S.D. in 2023. The traditional format will continue, culminating in the $53,000 to win, $5,300 to start, finale on Saturday, July 22. The season-long grind will come to an end with the 43rd Annual Dirt Track World Championship. However, the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series finale will have a new home.
